I'm taking a short break from my Cupcake Inspirations posts to
let you know about Cuttin' and Stampin's latest challenge.
Our theme is GOLD!
Have you noticed all the gold being used in scrapbooks and cards lately?
Well, I have, and I am LOVING it!
The Cuttin' and Stampin' design team was inspired by the new
Simple Stories I Am collection
and Lawn Fawn's
Lucky Stars stamp set.

For my gold-themed project, I altered a mini-journal.
All those fun I Am Bits and Pieces were just perfect for this project.
As for the paper, LOVE it!
I heat embossed (in gold) the sentiment for Lucky Stars on black paper.
Then I adhered it to that globe! Then I just started layering different elements and adding some gold washi tape from my stash to add a bit more bling!

Love this - one if my favorite things to do is repurposed and change things up with my crafty treasures!!! You have done a superb job of mixing andatching all the fun bits from Simple Stories!!! You are a genius and I dearly live all those pops of gold!!! So fun to visit - hope you are well!!!
