CIC451--Newton's Nook Designs

The Sweeties are back from a short summer break and ready to have more crafty fun.
I so excited about this CIC challenge because we have Newton's Nook Designs as our sponsor.  Being a crazy cat lover, I absolutely adore Jen Jackson's kitty images!  I love the other critters too, but Newton remains my all time favorite.

Now for my inspiration:

For my card, I used the NND's Framework die. I pulled out an old spiral notebook to make the background. I then stamped and colored this sweet image from the Newton's Book Club stamp set. I found some school themed pattern papers to make the banners, and I made my sentiment using an old-school label maker.  My final touches included stapling the banners on and stamping the little apple.  Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to link up your creation using the theme Back-to-School!
