CIC467--STAMPlorations and Double Trouble

This biweekly challenge is sponsored by STAMPlorations.

STAMPlorations is generously providing a $20 gift code to our randomly chosen winner.

Thank you for sponsoring this challenge!

Each challenge, we provide a cupcake to inspire you to create a card or other craft project following our suggested theme or colors.  Here is this week's cupcake (linked to original source):

We are also trying something new by teaming up with the Double Trouble Challenge for a second way to enter your card featuring Woodland Critters.
Here's a bit about our friends at Double Trouble:

Welcome to Double Trouble - We're two retired ladies bringing you a new challenge blog where we hope you find fun and inspiration! We're not affiliated with any companies and welcome all participants. Our challenge will include Thing 1-Trouble Maker the Basic Challenge, Thing 2-Double Dare being a surprise element in which you may or may not decide to participate and Thing 3-Twisted Sister, will appear with an optional twist to the Challenge.

Our theme for this challenge is to add woodland creatures--foxes, raccoons, deer, squirrels--to your project.

When you enter our challenge this week, be sure to run over to the Double Trouble Challenge blog and see what their co-coordinating challenges are, so  you can link up with them as well!  The more aspects of the challenge you do, the more entries you will receive to win their prize!

Now for my inspiration:

My card features an amazing sentiment from STAMPlorations. This is from the Noteworthy 2 stamp set which has many other unique and inspiring says.

I paired this saying up with a this sweet bear who is going fishing. I was thinking of my husband when I made this card because he loves to fish and needs to do more of it.  I created a fun forest scene with a stream running through it.

I hope this inspires you to make a project using a woodland critter!
Hugs,
Debbie

  1. What an adorable teddy bear all dressed up in his fisherman attire and great coloring and design of your scenery...fun and adorable card. We are thrilled that we are partnering together and so glad you shared your project with us at Double Trouble. Hope you check back with us for other fun future challenges to see what Thing 1, 2 and 3 have up their sleeve.

  2. Such a fun card! Perfectly created for the fisherman in your life. Lots of watery coloring provides a great background for this cute bear. Thank you for playing along at Double Trouble #25.
