Here's my inspiration!

Movie night by Debbie features Newton's Movie Night, Sea Borders, Cloudy Sky, Shark Frenzy, and Purr-maid Newton by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook

My husband and I love to watch the TV show, Through the Decades, and recently we watched a clip about the impact the movie Jaws had on the American public.  This got me thinking about when my older sister came home from seeing this movie in 1975.  She had to be about 10-11 years old, and when she got home, she was terrified to go near our fish tank.  I was about 7 years old, and I thought how odd it was that my sister had instantly become afraid of some little fish!  Only when I was a bit older and was allowed to watch Jaws did I have a much better understanding.

I absolutely adore these trio of movie-going felines, so I decided to create a card for my sister's upcoming birthday with a Jaws theme to help her relive her childhood nightmare! (Nope, I haven't outgrown my love of annoying my sister! LOL)

I created the film strip by die cutting (a very old Sizzix die) in black. I then created the two film cells using the Sea Borders die set, Cloudy Sky stencil, images from the Shark Frenzy stamp set and the Purr-maid Newton stamp set. The first cell has a shark fin sneaking up on an unsuspecting swimmer.  The second cell has the shark attacking!  Yikes!  As you can see from the movie-going felines, there is an assortment of emotions.  (I would be the one covering my eyes!)  These felines are from the Newton's Movie Night stamp and die set show, which is quickly becoming one of my favorite sets!  Can't wait to send this card to my sister!

Now it's your turn to create 1 or more cards using a past IPC challenge!
Can't wait to see what you create!
Hugs,
Debbie
