Inky Paws Challenge #104

Hello and welcome!

Color Challenge

Yellow, Teal, Orange, and Brown.

You have until  Friday, August 23, 2019.

Here's my inspiration!

Paddle all your worries away by Debbie features Hardwood, Winston's Lake House, and Framework by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook

When I first saw these colors, I was a bit stumped but as I looked through my Newton's Nook stamp collection, I was drawn towards the Winston's Lake House stamp set.  I then pulled out the Hardwood stencil to create a wood grain back drop because it reminds me of the trees that surround all the lakes in the Pacific Northwest.  I used distress ink (Vintage Photo) with the stencil.  I then used the Framework die set.  For my central focal point, I used distress inks to blend a water and sunset background and die cut with a circle die.  I adhered the circle and heat embossed the sentiment in black.  I also added the dragonfly.  The canoe image was colored using Spectrum Noir markers and fussy cut.  I adhered it with foam tape.  For my final touch, I added orange & white twine at the top.

For even more inspiration on ways to use these amazing challenge colors, be sure to check out the Inky Paws Challenge blog. The design team used lots of different stamp sets!  You can also link up your project for your chance to win a $20 store credit at Newton's Nook Designs!
Happy Crafting,
Debbie
