On a personal note, I made this card for my uncle's birthday (also a Steelers fan!). My uncle has been diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease, so for his birthday, my aunt sent out a request to all his friends and family to send him birthday cards. The goal was 100 cards. The last count...he had received over 147 cards with more still coming in. Being over 1600 miles away from my family, making homemade cards is one way for me to stay in contact with my loved ones!
So kudos for all of us who make and send cards! They are really appreciated by those who get the privilege of receiving them! Now time to set about making another card using another fabulous sketch from The Sweet Stop. I went with a masculine look, but a feminine look would be easy to pull off too. Check out the other Sugar Babies creations for their marvelous take on the sketch! Can't wait to see your interpretation! Hugs, Debbie
