Week 3 Inspiration

 Dusty Lavender, Teal, Pumpkin Orange, and Rust!

I combined leaf paper with polka-dotted paper from the Autumn Leaves and the Halloween Basics paper packs. Those rugged edges were made using the Torn Edge Frames die set. I showcased the feline with his colorful pumpkins from the Newton's Boo-tiful Night stamp set. The sentiment is from the Fall Roundabout stamp set.

Week 2 Inspiration

 Dusty Lavender, Teal, Pumpkin Orange, and Rust!

I love to create scenes, and the teal leaf paper looked like wallpaper to me. I added some gray scraps for the carpet and scored some white paper for the trim and "crown" molding at the top. Once I had the background finished, it was time to decorate the room. I pulled furniture, kitty, and pillow from the  Cozy Home die set and paired it with the books, bookshelf, and "framed" sentiment from the Never Enough Books stamp set. I think it turned out pretty well. (I wouldn't mind hanging out in this room while reading a good book!)

Week 1 Inspiration

I am loving the new release by Newton's Nook Designs. For this card, I used the Torn Edges Frames die set. The Kraft card layer was embossed using a leaves folder which I lightly distressed in the challenge colors. For my center panel, I used a smaller die from this die set.  I filled the bottom portion with lots of leaves for the little fur babies to rake!  These little guys are from the Autumn Dogs and the Autumn Cats stamp sets. A fun card to celebrate the new season!

For my card, I used the  Jack-o-lantern stencil to create the backdrop. I then used the Coffee  Frame die with the hounds tooth paper from the Autumn paper pad.  I used the Thanks a Latte die for my sentiment and added a latte from the Autumn Coffees stamp set. To create my center panel I used one of the dies from the Basic Frames set. Tuck in a coffee gift card to make a wonderful thank you card!

I created this lovely latte card which includes a pocket for a gift card! I used papers from the Autumn and the Autumn Meows paper pads which work wonderfully together. I then stamed a coffee mug from the Autumn Coffees stamp set onto the crate from the Newton's Crate stamp set. A wonderful pumpkin-spice latte card if I don't say so myself!

For my card, I was inspired by the colors of the September 2026 Color Palette (Kendra's Card Challenge). I used the colors to distress the background using Oxide Inks. I then layered on the bats using the Flying Bats stencil. I cut this panel using the  Flags & Tags die to give the panel a "toothy" edging. I then did a bit of creative cutting by using the head with vampire teeth from the Count Newton stamp set and added it to the feline from the Batty Newton stamp set. I added the sentiment to finish up the card.

This week's card is a mini one measuring 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. (I was inspired by this little yellow envelope that was floating on my craft table.) I used the Basic Frames die set to create the mini base. I then cut out the pattern paper from the Halloween Time paper pad using the same die and covered the base.  I pulled out the Spooky Sky die set to create the crescent moon, which matches the moon on the paper. I created a little banner using the Frames & Flags die set and stamped the sentiment on it. This fun sentiment is from the Halloween Postage stamps set.  Alas, I added the little witchy-puppy from the Trick or Treat Puppy stamp set. I colored this little guy with Copic markers and fussy cut him out.

For my card, I used the Card Layout 7 die with the batty paper from the Halloween Time paper pad. For the center panel, I scored it about 1/4 from the top because I wanted to create a flap that would open. I used the same die to cut out the black panels. I then stamped and colored the vampire images with Copic Markers. These spooky critters are from the Batty Newton and the Count Newton stamp set.

With school starting tomorrow, I was inspired to make a school-themed card. I pulled out all the feline images with books. I stamped, fussy cut, and colored them with Copic Markers. These scholarly felines are from the Newton's Book Club, the All Booked Up, and the Never Enough Books stamp sets. I used the Card Layout 7 die with papers from the Black & White Basics paper pack. I cut down a banner  (Frames & Flags die set) and stamped the sentiment.

For my card, I thought it would be fun to keep the color palette simple. I selected three lavender papers from the Springtime paper pack. I cut the papers using the Card Layout 7 die. I then stamped the kittens image from the Newton's Birthday Trio stamp set and fussy cut. I colored the accessories in lavender. I decided the card needed a pop of color, so the bird was colored in teal. I popped this up with 3D foam tape. To balance the card, I added a teal and lavender balloon using the image from the Cat Birthday Party stamp set.

Going through my NND paper stash, I realized I hadn't used the Love & Chocolate paper pad in ages. I selected a trio of papers with the Card Layout 7 die. Then I pulled the gluttonous feline from the Newton's Thanksgiving stamp set. I also stamped the plate with the pie piece. I cut out the pie and added some chocolates that I cut from the paper. I made a banner using the 

Frames & Flags die set with the "Gobble to you Wobble" sentiment. I loved how this turned out and being able to use a Thanksgiving set with a different theme.
