Inky Paws Challenge #81 Reminder

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge!

Here'a a refresher.
Create a project using the theme: Fabulous Fall

Today I have more inspiration for this Challenge!

Autumn greetings by Debbie features Autumn Newton by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Using this darling image from the  Autumn Newton stamp set. I created a fall card with many layers.
I thought the combination of browns would look nice with the black gingham, so I gave it a go. I added an embossed striped for more texture and finished the card off with some twine.

Hope you will be inspired to join us. Remember NND stamps are required, but if you don't have any yet, there are free digital images.  Link up here

Create a project with a spectacular using the
colors green and brown!
Here's my inspiration:

For my card, I used A Day for Daisies'  Girl with Bunny image. I colored them with Prismacolor pencils. I created a textured background by die cutting two different colors of green using two plaid frame dies.  I then added brown ribbon and bow.  I opted not to use a sentiment so the focus would stay on the image.

Now it's your turn.  Use the colors of brown and green and link up for a chance to win some A Day for Daisies images!

Inky Paws Challenge #80 Reminder

Don't forget to join Inky Paws Challenge for using this fabulous sketch!

Today I have some more inspiration for you!

Travel by Debbie features Newton's Graduation, Loveable Llama, and Framework by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
This is such a fun sketch to use different pattern papers, which is good because I need to use up my considerable stash , so I can buy more!  For this card, I pulled out some travel-themed paper and a combination of Newton's Nook stamps. I used the Framework die set to create the layered background and stripe. I am just loving the new NND frame dies. I then colored Newton from the Newton's Graduation stamp set and added some luggage from the Loveable Llamas stamp set. I added a bit of twine to finish it off. I didn't add a sentiment because the pattern paper is quite busy.

I hope  you will join us for this IPC challenge. You might be the lucky winner of a $20 gift certificate to Newton's Nook Designs.  (NND will be previewing the new September release this week, so winning $20 could help you buy the new goodies!)

Inky Paws Challenge #80

Inky Paws Challenge has a new challenge and it's a ...
Sketch challenge!

You have TWO WEEKS to play along - Deadline to enter is Friday, September 14, 2018 at Midnight CST. The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.

Here's my inspiration!

I have a friend back in Utah who loves the rodeo, so this one is for her! This sketch had me looking through my large stash of pattern papers and I pulled out the Carta Bellla' Giddy Up stack. These papers are the perfect way to showcase the darling images from the Newton Rides West stamp set. The hardest part was deciding on which image to use. Since my friend used to ride barrels and still rides horses, I decided that I wanted to use Newton on his sturdy steed! I colored him with Prismacolor pencils.
I cut the background paper using the Framework die set. In keeping with the Western cowboy theme, I added some jute string and bronze-colored star brad.

Now it's your turn. Using your NND stamps or digi freebie, create a project inspired by the sketch. There's a $20 gift certificate to one lucky participant. Will it be you?
Good luck!
Debbie

Now for my inspiration:

For my spectacular background, I embossed the background using black embossing powder and old word stamp. Then I used Distress Oxide inks to blend in a dark, "scary" background and cut it using Newton's Nook Designs Framework die. I used the Crafty Sentiments Designs' Harriet-Witchy Ride and colored her using Prismacolor Pencils. I added some shimmer to her using Stella Wink. I stamped the sentiment from an old stamp and adhered it to a black banner. I added a washi tape strip and silver stars to finish it off.

Here'a a refresher.

Create a project using the colors magentayellowtangerine, and teal

Here's my inspiration.  Be sure to visit the Inky Paws blog to see what more amazing inspiration!

Have a llama fun on your birthday by Debbie features Loveable LLamas and Frames & Flags by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
I created the background by using the challenge colors and water coloring. I then cut out the background frame using the  Frames & Flags die set, which I just love! I then stamped and colored (Spectrum Noir markers) the llama and presents from the Loveable Llamas stamp set. Ever since seeing Napoleon Dynamite, I can't help but smile whenever I see a llama!  I fussy cut these out and adhered. I stamped the sentiment and added sequins and twine to finish.

Now it's your turn to use the challenge colors with your Newton's Nook products and link up!
Hugs,
Debbie
