Here's my inspiration!

Deck the hall by Debbie features Ornamental Wishes, Ornamental Shaker, Pines & Holly, and Frames & Flags by Newton's Nook Designs: #newtonsnook
I wanted to use lots of gold, so I die cut the background using the Frames & Flags die set from gold-foiled paper. (Here's hoping Santa brings me the supplies to make my own foil-paper making supplies!)  I then added a red stripe using wide ribbon. I die cut several leaves and boughs of holly out of foiled paper using the Pines & Holly die set. For my focal point, she stamped and embossed the sentiment using Ornamental Wishes stamp set and framed it using the Ornamental Shaker die set. Red sequins wore added to finish my card.

Hope you will join us at Inky Paws Challenge!
Hugs,
Debbie

Today I have some more inspiration for this Challenge!

A little holiday cheer by Debbie features Plaid, Framework, Newton Loves Coffee, Cup of Cocoa, Ornamental Wishes, and Newton's Candy Cane by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
I wanted to play in the Coffee Lovers' Blog Hop so I used the  Cup of Cocoa and Newton Loves Coffee stamps. I created my background using the new Plaid stencil set. The sentiment is from the Ornamental Wishes.  I used the  Framework die set to created the different rectangular frames. I have to say this is one of my all time favorite die sets!  I think I use it on every card I make. I also used that little candy image from the Newton's Candy Cane stamp set.

Again I'm entering this card in the Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

Be sure to use the Inky Paws Challenge sketch for a chance to win a NND gift certificate!  (Use a NND coffee-themed image and join the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop too! Another chance to win a NND gift certificate!) Trust me...you can't own too many NND products!

Create a project using the theme: The Holidays.

Here's my inspiration.  I kept this card super CAS.  That fun goose image is from the Christmas Goose digital stamp set. There are several fabulous sentiments included in this set. Unfortunately I printed the goose image a few weeks ago, but my printer is having some technical issues today. I can't print them!  So I used a sassy sentiment from a set from The Cat's Pajamas.

I  would love to have you play along
Happy Crafting!

Happy holidays by Debbie features Newton's Holiday Mischief, Newton's Candy Cane, Holiday Greetings, and Pines & Holly by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
For my card, I used a die to create the striped background. I wanted it to be shimmery, so I used red glitter card stock. I then inlaid a shimmery green card stock between the red stripes. I die cut in black the Happy Holiday sentiment using the Holiday Greetings die set. I adore this naughty kitten from the Newton's Holiday Mischief stamp set, so I inked him up and colored him in shades of gray and black.  I added some holly from the Pines & Holly die set and peppermint candy from the Newton's Candy Cane stamp set. I scattered some black sequins for the final touch!

Now it's your turn.  Link up at Inky Paws Challenge!

Inky Paws Challenge #85 Reminder

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge!

Here'a a refresher.
Create a project using the colors: red, whitegreen, and black.

Today I have some more inspiration for this Challenge!

I decided to go in a different direction by not using the colors for a Christmas card. I pulled out a stamp set I haven't had the pleasure of using and created this birthday card for my grandson's 9th birthday that is coming up in December.

Wishing you a frenzy of fun by Debbie features Shark Frenzy, Sea Borders, and Framework by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
For this card, I used the following Newton's Nook Designs products.
Framework (I just love this die set!)
Sea Borders die set for the vellum waves
Shark Frenzy stamp set (I tend to like coloring in bright colors, but I enjoyed shading these critters in shades of gray)
Newton Loves Cake stamp set (I used the birthday hat from this set.)
I sure hope you will pull out your NND stamps, dies, and stencils to play with us!

Now for my inspiration:
\
I used Poppy Stamps Purrfect Holiday Christmas stamp set. This is such a darling set with fun felines to color!  I colored them in brown and place them on kraft paper. I used a cream-colored snowflake from my stash and added it to the top left corner. I cut off the extra and used it on the other corner and inside.  I die cut the sentiment (Newton's Nook Designs) and adhered with a few sequins.  It turned out pretty cute with only using shades of brown, which was a challenge for me!
Hope you will join us at Cupcake Inspirations!

Inky Paws Challenge #84 Reminder

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge!

Here'a a refresher.
Create a project using Burlap or Twine.

Today I have some more inspiration for this Challenge!

It's beginning to look a sloth like Christmas by Debbie features Slothy Christmas, Forest Scene Builder, Autumn Leaves, Frameworks, Frames & Flags by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
I created this playful scene by beginning with the Framework die set to create the background.I embossed using a polka dotted folder. I added the burlap trees by die cutting them with the Forest Scene Builder die set. I then added a twine rope in which the sweet sloth from the Slothy Christmas stamp set to slide upon. The leaves from the Autumn Leaves die set work well as tropical leaves. To finish I added the sentiment to the banner using the Frames & Flags die set.
I am pretty excited about this card because it turned out so much better than I had planned. The sloth is a joy to color!
Hope you will join us at Inky Paws Challenge by adding some twine and/or burlap to your NND projects by Friday, November 9.

Inky Paws Challenge #84

This biweekly challenge is a:
Theme Challenge

Create a project using Burlap or Twine.
You have a chance to win a $20 gift certificate to Newton's Nook Designs!

Here's my inspiration!

I went with a monochromatic autumn card by creating a plaid background and adding a twine bow. I used the  Fancy Edges Tag die set to die cut my tag. I added a strip of burlap and then layered distressed ink to color my leaves before die cutting them using theAutumn Leaves die set. I stamped the sentiment.  I colored the darling fox from Harvest Tails stamp set using Prismacolor pencils. Enamel dots were added to finish the card.
