I used the A2 Card Layout to whip up a fun, summery card using the current colors of the Inky Paws Challenger. I used papers from the Bright Basics and the Summertime paper pads. I then added a sun and clouds using the Sky Scene Builder die set. At last, I added a sentiment from the Floral Delights stamp set.

Inky Paws Challenge #254

Week 2 Inspiration

For this card, I tried my hand using the Cloudy Sky  stencil to emboss the sky blue with puffy white clouds. I create this panel using a die from the Basic Frames die set.  I added the darling duo from the Sky High Celebrations stamp set which I stamped, fussy cut, and colored with Copic markers. I stamped a sentiment from the Birthday Oval stamp set placed on a  modified banner using the Bookmark die set. I enjoyed using the stencil for embossing! Now it's your turn!

I started my card by swiping mini ink pads across a piece of card stock. I used the Basic Frames die set to create the inner panel. I then die cut the zig-zag edging using the  Frames & Tags die set. I adhered these panels to the card base. I pulled out the Cocktail Mixer stamp set. I stamped a trio of drinks, fussy cut them out, and colored with Copic markers. I then create the mini-banner using the A7 Frames & Banner die set and stamped the sentiment. I added a few enamel dots. I love how this one turned out!  Now is it 5 o'clock somewhere?

The Sea is (still) Calling

I love using this cover die because it makes for a fun watery backdrop.  I was inspired by the colors for the {PIN}spirational Challenge-Blue and Green, so I used Distress Oxide inks in varying shades of greens and light blues to create the "water". For the center panel, I used some forgotten embossing powder by Hero Arts--Sand which makes a fun sandy beach. I especially like the texture of it. At last, I added the furry feline. I like how it turned out.
