This week's card is a mini one measuring 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. (I was inspired by this little yellow envelope that was floating on my craft table.) I used the Basic Frames die set to create the mini base. I then cut out the pattern paper from the Halloween Time paper pad using the same die and covered the base.  I pulled out the Spooky Sky die set to create the crescent moon, which matches the moon on the paper. I created a little banner using the Frames & Flags die set and stamped the sentiment on it. This fun sentiment is from the Halloween Postage stamps set.  Alas, I added the little witchy-puppy from the Trick or Treat Puppy stamp set. I colored this little guy with Copic markers and fussy cut him out.

For my card, I used the Card Layout 7 die with the batty paper from the Halloween Time paper pad. For the center panel, I scored it about 1/4 from the top because I wanted to create a flap that would open. I used the same die to cut out the black panels. I then stamped and colored the vampire images with Copic Markers. These spooky critters are from the Batty Newton and the Count Newton stamp set.

With school starting tomorrow, I was inspired to make a school-themed card. I pulled out all the feline images with books. I stamped, fussy cut, and colored them with Copic Markers. These scholarly felines are from the Newton's Book Club, the All Booked Up, and the Never Enough Books stamp sets. I used the Card Layout 7 die with papers from the Black & White Basics paper pack. I cut down a banner  (Frames & Flags die set) and stamped the sentiment.

For my card, I thought it would be fun to keep the color palette simple. I selected three lavender papers from the Springtime paper pack. I cut the papers using the Card Layout 7 die. I then stamped the kittens image from the Newton's Birthday Trio stamp set and fussy cut. I colored the accessories in lavender. I decided the card needed a pop of color, so the bird was colored in teal. I popped this up with 3D foam tape. To balance the card, I added a teal and lavender balloon using the image from the Cat Birthday Party stamp set.

Going through my NND paper stash, I realized I hadn't used the Love & Chocolate paper pad in ages. I selected a trio of papers with the Card Layout 7 die. Then I pulled the gluttonous feline from the Newton's Thanksgiving stamp set. I also stamped the plate with the pie piece. I cut out the pie and added some chocolates that I cut from the paper. I made a banner using the 

Frames & Flags die set with the "Gobble to you Wobble" sentiment. I loved how this turned out and being able to use a Thanksgiving set with a different theme.

Seas the Day

I was inspired to make an underwater filled with sea critters!  I used a stamp set by a favorite, yet out-of-business, stamp set. These little guys were created by The Alley Way stamp company. I adore these whimsical critters. I colored them with Prismacolor pencils. I was inspired by the following challenges:

I designed a fun card featuring a vintage truck from the Spring Haul stamp set. I showcased it with papers from the Spring Blooms and Basic Pastels paper pads. I used the Floral Roundabout stamp set for the sentiment. For the circular element, she used the Frames Squared die set.

I used the A2 Card Layout to whip up a fun, summery card using the current colors of the Inky Paws Challenger. I used papers from the Bright Basics and the Summertime paper pads. I then added a sun and clouds using the Sky Scene Builder die set. At last, I added a sentiment from the Floral Delights stamp set.

Week 2 Inspiration

For this card, I tried my hand using the Cloudy Sky  stencil to emboss the sky blue with puffy white clouds. I create this panel using a die from the Basic Frames die set.  I added the darling duo from the Sky High Celebrations stamp set which I stamped, fussy cut, and colored with Copic markers. I stamped a sentiment from the Birthday Oval stamp set placed on a  modified banner using the Bookmark die set. I enjoyed using the stencil for embossing! Now it's your turn!

I started my card by swiping mini ink pads across a piece of card stock. I used the Basic Frames die set to create the inner panel. I then die cut the zig-zag edging using the  Frames & Tags die set. I adhered these panels to the card base. I pulled out the Cocktail Mixer stamp set. I stamped a trio of drinks, fussy cut them out, and colored with Copic markers. I then create the mini-banner using the A7 Frames & Banner die set and stamped the sentiment. I added a few enamel dots. I love how this one turned out!  Now is it 5 o'clock somewhere?
