Week 1 Inspiration

 Dusty Lavender, Teal, Pumpkin Orange, and Rust!

I am loving the new release by Newton's Nook Designs. For this card, I used the Torn Edges Frames die set. The Kraft card layer was embossed using a leaves folder which I lightly distressed in the challenge colors. For my center panel, I used a smaller die from this die set.  I filled the bottom portion with lots of leaves for the little fur babies to rake!  These little guys are from the Autumn Dogs and the Autumn Cats stamp sets. A fun card to celebrate the new season!

Here's my inspiration!

Living in the PNW, we get a lot of rain showers during spring, so I used the Newton's Rainy Day Trio stamp set colored in Prismacolor pencils. I kept the umbrella in shades of grays with the trio of kitten's jackets graduating into a rainbow of color because it is the brightness of friendship that gets you through the gloom of long, rainy & cloudy days!  I added some shimmery raindrops using the Raindrops stencil and added a cloud and rays of sunshine using the Sky Builder die set.  I pulled a sentiment from the Umbrella Pals stamp set.  I also used dies from the  Frames Squared and Circle Frames.
