Inky Paws Challenge #239 Week 4

Inky Paws Challenge

Week 4 Inspiration

You have until Friday, May 2, 2025 (Midnight, CST) to play along and have a chance to win a $20 store credit!

Debbie's card features Fractured Card Layout, Newton's Birdbath, and Spring Heights by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #springcard, #catcard

I really enjoy combining stamp sets, so this card features the Newton's Birdbath stamp set and the Spring Heights Stamp set. I love how the cats are both climbing up on something. I distressed the back panel before die cutting using the Fractured Card Layout die. I added the sentiment in the center. I added a little butterfly to balance the top corner.

Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs,
Debbie

Inky Paws Challenge #235--Week 1

Inky Paws Challenge

Week 1 Inspiration

For December, there will only be 3 weeks to link up your amazing NND creations!
So what will you be creating the last few weeks of the year?  Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hannukah, birthday, thank you,..?  I can't wait to see!

You have from Monday, December 2, 2024 to Friday, December 20, 2024 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop!  The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.  Make sure you check the challenge rules page before you link up your project.

For my card, I was inspired to make a thank you card with a wintry feel.

Debbie's thank you card features Frames & Flags, Oval Frames, Snowfall, Snow Angel, Snowflake Oval, and Snowman Roundabout by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #inkypawschallenge, #newtonsnook, #newtonsnookdesigns, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #wintercards, #thankyoucards, #catcards,
I began by creating the snowflake background using the Snowfall stencil. I then used the  Frames & Flags die set to create the scalloped edging. I adhered on a dark navy card base.  I then stamped the oval image from the Snowflake Oval stamp set which I colored in shades of blue using Copic markers and die cut using a die from the Oval Frames die set. My star attraction is the playful feline from the Snow Angel Newton stamp set and fussy cut. My final touch was embossing the sentiment from the  Snowman Roundabout stamp on vellum. I added some gems for a bit of sparkle.

Now what will you create?  I can't wait to see!

Inky Paws Challenge #169

New Inky Paws Challenge starts today!

Theme Challenge

Use the theme-Spring!
Link up by  Friday, March 25, 2022 at Midnight CST for a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs!

Here's my inspiration!

I'm here for you rain or shine by Debbie Owens features Newton's Rainy Day Trio stamp set, Umbrella Pals stamp set, Sky Builder die set, Circle Frames die set, Frames Squared die set, and Raindrops stencil by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #springcards, #cardmaking
Living in the PNW, we get a lot of rain showers during spring, so I used the Newton's Rainy Day Trio stamp set colored in Prismacolor pencils. I kept the umbrella in shades of grays with the trio of kitten's jackets graduating into a rainbow of color because it is the brightness of friendship that gets you through the gloom of long, rainy & cloudy days!  I added some shimmery raindrops using the Raindrops stencil and added a cloud and rays of sunshine using the Sky Builder die set.  I pulled a sentiment from the Umbrella Pals stamp set.  I also used dies from the  Frames Squared and Circle Frames.

Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs,
Debbie

A new challenge has begun at Inky Paws!

Theme challenge

Create a project using the theme: Floral

You have until June 5, 2020 for a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs!

Here's my inspiration!

Let your dreams blossom by Debbie features Dainty Daisies and Gingham by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
I decided to combine my orange daisies from the Dainty Daisies stamp set with gingham.  I started by distressing the bottom third of my card in black and using the Gingham stencil.  I added my orange flowers using some foam tape.  I added a bit of green twine.  I stamped the sentiment to the right of the flowers to balance my card.  I finished by added some black enameled dots.  It was a simple card to make, but I think the gingham works beautifully with the flowers!

Now it's your turn to link up at Inky Paws!
Can't wait to see your creations!
Hugs,
Debbie
