I was inspired to create this card based on the below challenges. I used Newton's Nook Designs Basic Frames die set to create the stitch layers. I used Kat Scrappiness Teal Glitter paper pad for the light teal layer. The pink layer was made using water colors. The same is true of the sun which was die cut using NND Sky Scene Builders die set. I then added the Newton from the Newton's Happy Meowr stamp set. It was fun to make a summer card! We have lots of sunshine here in Idaho, but with 3 inches of snow on the ground, we are far from warm!
This little kitty image makes me smile. I can just imagine a little fur ball sipping a little cocktail in hopes of sipping up that fish. And those sunglasses on the fish...so silly!
Food, Layer, Stitch, Warm
Thanks so much for stopping by!

This is so sweet, Debbie. I love the way you gave Newton his furry stripes. I am glad for the fish that he is bigger than the opening of that straw! Love those summery colors on a cold winter day! Thanks for playing our Pick 2 Challenge at Time Out. BTW, you can add "warm" to your list of picks because of your Summery theme!
