Inky Paws Challenge #253


Week 1 Inspiration


Create a project with a friendship theme.

Debbie's tea card features Pug Hugs, Puppy's Bubble Tea, Bubbly, Frames & Flags, and Circle Frames by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #inkypawschallenge, #newtonsnookdesigns, #newtonsnook, #cardmakingideas, #cardchallenge, #coffee_crafts, #friendcards, #teacards, #puppycards

I first created the backgroud using Distress Inky with the Bubbly stencil and then used the scallop-edged frame from the Frames & Flags die set. I cut a trio of vellum circles using the Circle Frames die set. For my focal image, I stamped and fussy cute the puppy from the Puppy's Bubble Tea stamp set. I colored her with Copic markers. I added a little hair bow using a small stamp from the Pug Hugs stamp set. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the sentiment on one of the circles.  I adhered everything using Precision Craft Glue and 3D foam tape. To hide a few glue dots, I added a few enamel dots. I love the pop of green with the purple.

I liked this card so much that I made a companion card using the colors in reverse. I used Newton's Bubble Tea stamp set.

    What little sweethearts these cards are - just such bright, happy fun. I love the bubble stencil matching in as it does with the central image and the sentiment. You've brightened my day, so thank you for sharing them with us at The Paper Players.

    What a super cute pair of cards! They make me smile! Repeated circles always make me happy, but when you pair them with these cuties they are even better. So glad you shared these with us at the Paper Players this week
