You Make My Heart Melt

I have a super cute holiday card featuring a little snowman from Paper Smooches Warm Hearts stamp set. I adore this fun snowman with his latte cup. I then used five different papers from Miss Kate Gingerbread Lane paper pad. I used the Heart Frames die set by Newton's Nook Designs.  I love the subtle colors of this paper pad.

I have a fun card showcasing these little bats from Paper Smooches Falling For You stamp set.  I adore Paper Smooches, a company that closed years ago, but I still love using their products.  This was a super CAS card using the sketch below.

I love coffee-themed cards, and this one was so fun to create!  I used the Christmas Cookies paper pad by Miss Kate.  This pad has the cutest papers, so I used the {BYSHC} Sketch so I could use 5 different papers!  Aren't they the cutest!!  I made the stitched heart using NND's Heart Frames die set.  The little mug is also a NND product-Christmas Coffee stamp set. The Best Wishes sentiment is from a die set that I bought at a garagte sale. Unfortunately, I don't know who makes it.

Take Life One Cup at a Time

 

I found so many challenges that inspired this card.  I decided to use the Inky Paws current sketch to showcase the Newton's Nook Designs Coffee Delights stamp set.  I used papers from the NND Black & White Basics and the Lovely Hearts paper pads. To make the banner, I used the Banner Trio dies from NND.  I colored the coffee mugs in shades of red, grays and blacks using Copic Markers.  I love how this turned out.  Here are the challenges that inspired this card:

Enjoy the Day

I am loving the floral papers from the Echo Park-Easter Time paper pad!  They are just so beautiful, especially with old snow sitting on the ground outside. I paired this paper Newton's Nook Designs Spring Haul stamp set.  I also used Newton's Nook Designs Heartfelt Blooms stamp set and Banner Trio die set  The stitched circle was created using dies from My Favorite Things. I'm counting down the days until we get some spring blooms!

Heartfelt Sympathy

 

My card today features some beautiful flowers for a somber occasion. The floral paper is from Echo Park Easter Time paper pad. I used the Oval Frames die set by Newton's Nook Designs to create the oval. I added some distress ink. I added the coral-colored flowers using the Dainty Daisies NND stamp set. I used a sentiment from the retired NND stamp set Heartfelt Sentiments on a banner using NND's banner trio.

Easter Basket with Rainbow Paper

 

I have another fun Easter card. This one features an older Newton's Nook Designs stamp: Newton's Easter Basket stamp set. I used the Pixi Dust Designs You're a Cute Tea paper pad with the Pixi Dust Designs Peek-a-Boo Tag die. I used a Lifestyle Crafts embossing folder with a bit of white ink for the "basket" look.

Snowman Greetings

I had so much fun making this card using the following challenges. First, I used one of my old favorite stamp sets from Paper Smooches--Swanky Snow Dudes. When this company went out of business, I was so disappointed. I love their stamps and have held onto them for many years. I used some scraps from a very old paper pad from Recollections--Cozy Lodge. At last, I used a long-forgotten embossing folder from Lifestyle Crafts.  So in essence, this card is filled with lots of "neglected" stuff.

Rainbow-Easter Card

 

It's getting close to Easter, so I thought I had better get hoppy on getting my cards ready. For this card, I embossed (Lifestyle Crafts) the Kraft strip and then lightly applied some white ink to give it a "basket" feel. I then framed it with light yellow card stock. I added the wavey pastel rainbow paper (Pixi Dust Designs You're a Cute Tea paper pad). I then added the tag using Pixi Dust Designs Peek-a-Boo Tag die).  I stamped and fussy cut the Easter image from Newton's Nook Designs' Hop Into Spring stamp set.  I used Copic Markers for my coloring.

For my card, I was inspired to make a farm-themed birthday card!

My card today features Farmyard paper pad. I pulled the cow paper to make my vertical stripe, and for the horizontal stripe, I used the black paisley.  I decided not to add a stamped cow image; rather, I opted to use the barn.  I created the barn out of card stock scraps using the Barn die set. I added a yellow banner behind it using the Frames & Flags die set.  My final touch was stamping the sentiment, which is from the Moo stamp set.
