Here's my inspiration!

For my card, I tried my hand at creating backgrounds using acrylic paints. This was inspired by watching a Jennifer McGuire video.  I had a great time experimenting with various colors though I still need more practice.  (Jennifer always makes techniques look so easy and her samples are always amazing!  LOL). I then heat embossed the kitty from the  Newton's Birthday Balloons in white and tried my hand at water coloring. (I know acrylic and water color paints all in one card!)  I have to point out that the pink and dark gray mismatched paws are in honor of my own not-so little Velcro's paws.  Seriously, none of his feet match!  I added some Glossy Accents to the kitty balloon to set it apart and added glittery gel pen to the present. To finish everything off, I heat embossed the sentiment on vellum, chose the yellow and white striped paper, and splattered some pink gems as the final touches.
