Here's my inspiration!
My card was inspired by my 50th birthday cake which my talented neighbor created for me.
I chose lavender, teal, and yellow for my color combination. To make the cake I stamped the three-tiered cake from Newton Loves Cake stamp set and trimmed it down to only one layer. I then stamped the kitty-cone image from Cat Treats. Again I trimmed it down to just the ice cream kitty image. I stamped a hat and trimmed it to fit the kitty's head. After coloring, I adhered it together. I think it looks very similar to the actual cake. I then created my background by using the Bubbly stencil, Distress Ink and textured paste. Once dried, I cut it out using the Framework die set. I just love the loopy-loops of the cake image, so I die cut a lavender loopy-loop stripe. I then pulled out some yellow pattern paper to create the balloon shaker using the Balloon Shaker die set. I stamped the sentiment using the Thankful Thoughts stamp set and added sequins and seed beads. I just love how it all turned out!
