Here's my inspiration!
I decided to go with a Christmas card this week.
I wanted to keep it very clean and simple for this card, so I challenged myself to create a one layer card. I started by stamping the tree elements using the Snow Globe Scenes stamp set. I then masked the trees, so I could stamp the buildings from the same stamp set. I masked this off and stamped the itty-bitty mouse from the Caroling Newton stamp set. I love how this mouse is the perfect size for the Snow Globe Scenes images! With the buildings and trees still masked, I used some light blue distress ink to create the sky. I decided against adding clouds because I just love those crisp, cold, clear days after a snowstorm. I stamped the sentiment before adding some Nuvo Crystal Drops for snow on the ground and trees.
Now it's your turn to create a Halloween, Thanksgiving, or Christmas card for a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs. Link up at Inky Paws Challenge!
For another chance to win a store credit to Newton's Nook Designs, be sure to check out the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge. NND is the sponsor and theme is fall!
Additional Challenges for this card:
Great one layer card. I must try harder at that myself, but I always get in a pickle with my masking. Love this card. Thank you for joining us at The Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge :) Lynda DT
