Sketch Challenge

Create a project using the challenge sketch.

Here's my inspiration!

I decided to make two similar cards using the same stamps, stencil, dies and papers. It was fun to see how differently they turned out.  I used three colors of green Distress Oxide inks, did some masking, and used the Tropical Leaves Stencil to create a tropical background. I used the postage-edged frame die from the Framework die set. I cut out a section and replaced it with a white card stock. The piece was then used on the second card atop of a cork card base.  I added a cork banner using the Frames & Flags die set and a white banner for the second card. I die cut the tags from the Fancy Edges Tag die set. I distressed leaves on one tag and for the other I simply distressed the outer edges.  The main attraction--the toucan couple--was colored with Spectrum Noir markers and the Toucan Party stamp set. I added the sentiment to the first card, but thought the second card was too busy, so I opted not to add any sentiment. I added two colors of green twine to finish both tags.
