Inky Paws Challenge #161

Ready for a new Inky Paws Challenge?

We have holiday colors to get you jump-started on your Christmas cards!

Color Challenge

Use the Colors-

Red, Dark Green, Light Green, and Brown to create your NND project!

You have until Friday, November 19, 2021 at Midnight CST. The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.

Here's my inspiration!

I had lots of scraps of paper from the newly released Meowy Christmas pad, so I decided to make up some tags.  I looked through my pre-stamped and fussy cut images.  This way I could make several without having to pull out all my stamps.  I've found that when my new stamp sets arrive, I pull out my mini-Misti.  I ink up all the new images and make 5-10 copies.  I then fussy cut them all and place them in small labeled baggies.  (Yes, I fussy cut nearly all my images.  Fussy cutting is a stress reliever for me!) When I don't want to make a project but want to just color, I can pull out a bag and simply just color.

Back to my tags.  When I pulled out my Dear Santa bag, I found that I had previously colored these Santa images. So all I had to do was cut out the tags in Kraft using the Fancy Edges Tag die set.  I pulled out my bag of scraps from the Meowy Christmas pad for the little stripe and hole color.  I added some twine and jute bow for finishing touches!

This tag uses the Prehistoric Christmas stamp set.

This tag uses the Christmas Haul stamp set.

These tags showcase drinks from the Christmas Cocktails stamp set.

Hope you are inspired to use up some of your paper scraps on your own holiday tags.  Be sure to link up your NND projects using the Challenge Colors, so you have a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs!  I look forwarded to seeing your projects!
Hugs,
Debbie
