Here'a a refresher.
Create a project using the Theme--Create a Tag!
Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge!
I wanted to use these amazing peppermint shaker elements that I got last year in my Christmas stocking! And what better way than adding them to a shaker tag! Can't you just these dangling from a gift! They are super fun and simple to make. First, distress your tag base with Mixed Lawn Distress Oxide ink (or paper if you it on hand). Then die cut with the outline ornament die from the Ornament Shaker die set. While you have this die out, be sure to die cut a couple more out of a clear acetate plastic. Then stamp your holiday sentiment on each green base (Newton's Candy Cane and Ornamental Wishes stamp sets). Be sure to place the wide-border die over your base to line up the sentiment. I used my Misti tool to stamp more than once. Use a bit of powder to dust everything to remove the static electricity. Now it's time to die cut your thick foam with the wide-border die. Adhere to your card base. Sprinkle in your peppermint and jewel mixture. Then adhere the clear acetate over everything. Now die cut your pattern paper with the thick-border die and adhere. I used the fun papers from the Meowy Christmas paper pad. I then pulled some silver, glitter paper scraps for the ornament caps. I just love how these turned out.
Now it's your turn to link up your tags. Good luck on your chance at winning the $20 NND store credit!Hugs, Debbie
