It's a new week, so time for a new Cupcake Inspirations Challenge. This week we have a theme challenge--Around Town! We have one of our regular sponsors back--Fresh Brewed Designs. I used From the Roof Tops, which was perfect for this challenge. I loved the pink on those cupcakes, so I wanted to pull in pink. I kept the design simple, but pulled in texture using an embossing folder and Core'dination's Black Magic paper and distressing the edges on the black cardstock. I add a bit of pink to the image with Spectrum Noir markers.

This is so fun. Love that you only colored parts of the image. It is so soft and clean. The textured background paper makes everything pop! Awesome.
