CIC365--Winnie & Walter

I'm not a big flowery-type of girl, so I was a bit nervous about this Cupcake Inspirations' Flowers challenge, but when I saw the amazing and beautiful floral stamps from Winnie & Walter, I got pretty excited to expand my stamp collection as well as my coloring skills. For my card, I use Winnie & Walter's In Bloom:  Anna's Flora.  I also used Winnie & Walter's In a Word: Hugs Cutaway.  (I just love both of these products.)  I stamped, colored the flowers and leaves (Prismacolor pencils), and fussy cut them. I die cut the hugs sentiment several times, so I could stack them to add a bit of dimension. Once I assembled everything, I added some washi tape and sparkly gel pen to the flowers. I can't wait to keep using this set. Who knows, maybe I will become a flowery-type of girl!
For you chance to win a $25 gift card from Winnie & Walter, be sure to link up to this week's Cupcake Inspirations' Challenge--Flowers!

  4. I'm with you on the 'feeling nervous' about flower images, but you, my friend, can put those feelings aside: your blooms are gorgeous! Vibrant, beautiful blooms, and they really pop with the hugs sentiment (I need to use mine more often). You've created a marvelous inspiration card...makes me smile!
