For my card, I was inspired to make a holiday card.

I createsda holiday scene with these cute little buildings from the Main Street Christmas stamp and die set. I used a pair of papers from the Christmas Basics paper pad to coordinate with the builidngs for a fun interpretation of the sketch!

2024 Fall Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop-#4

One of the best times of the year has arrived.  No, not Christmas; rather, the Coffee Lovers blog hop.  I adore making coffee-themed cards and seeing everyone else's cards.

I created a larger A7 using Newton's Nook Designs A7 Frames & Banners die set. I then used Catherine Pooler's Mug Shots stamp set with papers from the Daily Grind pad.  This layout was inspired by the current TOP Inky Inspiration Sketch

Today's card features this cute owl from Ray of Sunshine by Unity Stamp Co.
I used Stampendous! Cling Coffee Background to create the background panel. I added the black and white heart paper from Newton's Nook Designs Black & White Basic paper pad. I also used NND's Basic Frames die set for the vellum panel and the sentiment from Time for Coffee.

2024 Fall Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop-#2

One of the best times of the year has arrived.  No, not Christmas; rather, the Coffee Lovers blog hop.  I adore making coffee-themed cards and seeing everyone else's cards.

For my second entry, I used the newly released Christmas Coffee by Newton's Nook Designs again.  I used one of the coffee mugs and repeatedly stamped a mug.  I then created an oval-shaped card using the Newton's Nook Designs Oval Frames die set with a little tag from the Frames & Tags die set.

Inky Paws Challenge #233-Week 4

Use Burnt OrangeOlive GreenSlate Gray, and Cream with your NND products.

Inky Paws has moved to a new, monthly format to give you more time to get Inky with your Newton's Nook Designs products.

You have until Friday, November 1, 2024 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop!  The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.  Make sure you check the challenge rules page before you link up your project.

This week, I was inspired to make a bookmark instead of a card.  I used an autumn theme because Newton's Nook Designs has such cute bookmark stamps!

I began by cutting the bookmark using the Bookmark die set.  I lightly distressed the edges with Distress Oxide ink.  I then stamped the stack of books, sentiment, and leaves using the Autumn Reads stamp set. I colored everything with Copic markers using the IPC challenge colors.  I added an orange gingham ribbon as my final touch.  I haven't yet, but I think I will laminate the bookmark to give it longevity.

Now it's your turn to use these colors in your NND masterpiece!

I am so excited to continue participating in the {BYSHC} Linky Party.

I have another hippo holiday card featuring the Simon's Says STAMPemberExclusive-2021 La-La Land Crafts. I still have just a few scraps from the Pink & Main Jolly paper pad that I used on the tree.  From Newton's Nook Designs, I used the Land Borders die set with the retired Festive Forest die set.  For this card, I lightly distressed a pink backdrop for the sweet hippos to enjoy.

{BYSHC} Falling for the Holidays Linky Party Card #5

I am so excited to continue participating in the {BYSHC} Linky Party.

I adore hippos since the premature birth of Fiona at the Cincinnati Zoo.  I am so excited to finally to get my hands on this set!  I used the fun die from My Favorite Thing-Stitiched Diagonal High/Low Cover Up. The paper is from A Recollections paper pad. I kept the color scheme monochromatic. The blue Santa hat and blue berries on the mistletoe just makes me smile! Stay tuned for another Hippo holiday card!

Inky Paws Challenge #233-Week 3

Use Burnt OrangeOlive GreenSlate Gray, and Cream with your NND products.

Inky Paws has moved to a new, monthly format to give you more time to get Inky with your Newton's Nook Designs products.

You have from Monday, October 7, 2024 to Friday, November 1, 2024 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop!  The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.  Make sure you check the challenge rules page before you link up your project.

For my card, I was inspired to create a card celebrating the just desserts of a successful harvest!

Deb's Give Thanks card features Newton's Thanksgiving, Fall Harvest, Autumn Basics, and Fall Roundabout by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #newtonsnookdesigns, #cardmaking, #cardmakingideas, #cardchallenge, #autumncards, #catcards, #fallcards, #givethankscards

Today's card features several stamp sets. My aim was to depict the bounty of the harvest, to using the harvest in a dessert, to what one looks like after partaking the harvest!  I did this by using the kitty in his pumpkin basket from the Fall Harvest stamp set. I then used the kitty making the pie and the very full kitty from the Newton's Thanksgiving stamp set. I colored them with Copic markers using some gray for the challenge colors.  I then added some layers using the  Basic Frames die set with papers from the Autumn Basics paper pad. I really liked the green gingham paper because gingham has such a warm, county feel to it. I pulled the sentiment from the  Fall Roundabout stamp set. I think the "Give Thanks" can mean so many things--giving thanks to those who grow and harvest the bounty, to those who work so hard to create delicious foods from the harvest, to those who are fortunate enough to enjoy the rewards of all the hard work. I'm so thankful to all that tiredlessly work to bring the bounty of this country to my local grocer! Thank you so much!

Now it's your turn to use these colors in your NND masterpiece!

{BYSHC} Falling for the Holidays Linky Party Card #4

I am so excited to continue participating in the {BYSHC} Linky Party.
My card features lots of scrap papers from a much beloved Pink & Main paper pad (retired), Jolly. Pink & Main is one of the amazing sponsors to this fun Linky Party!  I added this darling image from Newton's Nook Designs' Holiday Heights stamp set. I also used NND's Basic Frames die set and sentiment from Snowman Roundabout. Newton's Nook Designs is also one of the amazing sponsors to this super fun Linky Party!
