Okay, so my 14 week old kitten(Catapult) found my fish tank this week. I know, I know I shouldn't let her on the bar counter, but it was so darn fun watching her jump around, pawing, and watching them. It just inspired me to create a fish tank card. I remembered that Lawnscaping was having a Stamp a Scene Challenge--#14. Using bubble wrap from some stamps I received in the mail this week (hee, hee), I dabbed Memories Baby Blue ink and created a bubbly background. Then I stamped and heat embossed (Ranger--black sparkle) my fish (Inkadinkado) on different colored card stock scraps. I wanted my fish to represent the colors of the rainbow for The Color Throwdown Challenge #151--rainbow. I used beads to create the sand on the bottom of the tank and Stampendous' Sushi Bowl Party for the coral and shell. I used pop dots to make the red and purple fish as well as the sentiment pop out. I used Martha Stewart's Bubble Bath (I just love that name.) to punch a border for the top of my water. I ended up with a cute tankful of fish to give to someone. Thanks for checking out my cards.
