For this thanks card, I stamped my background using my
Pumpkin Seeds Sentiments from Skipping Stones Design.
Speaking of Skipping Stones Design, I used their sketch for this week. For the flowers, I wanted them to be shiny, so I "candied" them using embossing powder. Not sure how I like them. I stitched the stems for each flower for Simon Says--A Stitch in Time Challenge, added some jute, and stamped the sentiment. (Was going to use the sentiment from my Pumpkin Seed stamps, but alas it is MIA. Guess that's what happens when you work in chaos.
I love the color combo! The stitching is a great touch! I have never "candied" anything, what a fun idea! Thanks for sharing! Glad you joined the SSD Challenge!
