Dragon--SSD #87, Cupcake Inspiration #121, & CTO #24

Well, first off thanks Skipping Stones Design for not only offering great stamps, incredible inspiration, but wonderful challenges where little crafters like me can win!  And last week I won!!!!  I can't tell you how psyched I am to win one of your fab stamps!

Now on with this week's card.  SSD has a great guest sketch artist, Teri Anderson!!  I combined this challenge with Cupcake Inspirations Challenge. and Celebrate the Occasion-kid's birthday card.  Seriously, a great sketch, a kid's card,  AND a dragon cake.  Yes a dragon cake!  I couldn't wait to pull out my little dragon stamp (imaginisce's Snag 'em Stamps) that I impulsively purchased months ago.  I wanted to keep this card CAS because I plan on giving this to my little grandson on his 2nd birthday coming up in December.  I made the little flower thingy, stamped and paper pieced the dragon, stamped the sentiment (Skipping Stones Design's Pumpkin Seed Sentiment set), crimped the lavender rectangle, adhered everything and added the buttons (Making Memories) and Scrapper's Floss (Karen Foster).  I used some Pop Dots to give it some dimension.   A fun, simple, colorful birthday card for my little guy!  Thanks for stopping by!  For those who commented on Catapult last week, she attempted to hinder...I mean help when she commandeered my chair!  Gotta love her!
