Newton's Nook Designs February Release Day 2


Welcome to day 2 of Newton's Nook Designs.  Today's stamp set is Tweet Talk, and I've made a few projects showcasing them.



For this card, I combined Tweet Talk with the adorable Winston from Winston's Birthday set.  I embossed, die cut and water colored the frame.  Then I paper pieced Winston, the birdhouse, and the bird.

For this little Valentine's bag, I again did some paper piecing.  I added a few treats and gave them to my third graders. They were a big hit!  



I'm still working on my CAS skills. Here I shaded the birdhouses with Spectrum Noir markers and added some Washi tape.

    Esp love your Valentine bag. Those pieced birdies on the stamped kraft are adorable!! Really sweet gift in more ways than one. Also, really attracted to your last card with the teal washi strips. Lovely.

    These are terrific - does one of the birdhouses have a felt roof - how adorable! I really like Winston getting ready to hang the birdhouse and the hopeful new occupant waiting eagerly on the branch nearby!
