Thanks--with a felt flower

For this card, I embossed the background and used water coloring crayons from Stampin' Up. I added some bling and the felt flower. I then die cut the thanks (The Greeting Farm) sentiment in both the gold and vellum. I adhered the vellum and then added the gold thanks. I cut two strips in gold and adhered to the vellum and the top of the card.

CIC360--Lawn Fawn

Hello and welcome back!  This week at Cupcake Inspirations, we are sponsored by Lawn Fawn, and our theme is Punny!  Lawn Fawn has such fun, whimsical stamps.  Many of which have punny sentiments. I used Lawn Fawn's Best Pun Ever!  For your chance to win a stamp set and a 6x6 paper pad from Lawn Fawn, be sure to create something punny and link up. One randomly chosen participant is going to be very happy!  I hope it is you!

I also wanted to let you know that Cupcake Inspirations is having a design team call. For all the details, click on this link.

For my card I used Echo Park paper to cover a mini journal. I die cut the tag, stamped the image and sentiment, and colored with Spectrum Noir markers. I added an enamel dot and ribbon. I then die cut the tag out of fun foam to add a bit of dimension and used some sparkly gel pen to add a touch of glitter to the heart. A simple project that I hope my wonderful room volunteers will enjoy with a mini gel pen.

Just a Note Mini-Notebook

(I used a tag die by Paper Smooches for both the fun foam and the card stock.)

You're Tea-riffic Mini Notebook

With the end of year just around the corner, I thought I had better get a move on and make some little Thank-You gifts for my room volunteers. This is my first one showcasing Lawn Fawn's Best Pun Ever stamp set. I combined several challenges--colors, sketch, and theme.  Stay tuned for more mini-notebooks as I have 54 students and lots of volunteers!  :)

CIC360--Altenew

Welcome to this week's Cupcake Inspirations Challenge. We have some gorgeous colors this week. We have a wonderful sponsor, Altenew, who is generously giving one lucky (randomly chosen) participant their Too Sweet stamp set!  Happy stamping!  Debbie

Established in April 2014, Altenew strives to bring elegant, natural and versatile designs in paper crafting products. Altenew firmly believes in sharing happiness and comfort with our loved ones through creative expression of crafting. We know that personal, delicate touches of a hand-made card or scrapbook page can bring joy to people that are important in our lives and we are proud to create products that help inspire alluring projects/creations.

For my card, I used Altenew's Bejeweled stamp set.  I embossed the butterfly in gold on vellum. I fussy cut it out. I watercolored on watercoloring paper. (Unfortunately, my colors did not turn out as I had wanted. I think I will be in the market for some better (and richer colored) water colors.  Let me know if you have any suggestions!)  I then embossed in gold the sentiment again from the Bejewled set. I adhered the butterfly then the gold stars. (I just loved the gold stars on the inspiration cupcakes.) I cut some strips of gold foiled card stock (DCWV) and adhered. I really liked how this one turned out. I really hope you will have time to join us this week. Debbie

CIC359--Paper Sweeties

Welcome and Happy Mother's Day!  This week at Cupcake Inspiration we have a returning sponsor, Paper Sweeties, who is generously providing one lucky participant a gift certificate to Paper Sweeties for $25!  Wow!  For my card I used Paper Sweeties' "Happy" stamp and coordinating die set. The fun heat and glittery circle and heart is from Stampin' Up. The little banner is from Your Next Stamp. I simply planned the card and then adhered everything. Easy-peasy!  Now I hope you will join us this week for our Bunting challenge and chance to win!  ~Debbie
