CIC377 Gerda Steiner

Welcome to this week's Cupcake Inspiration Challenge.
This week we have a Party Time theme.
Our generous sponsor is Gerda Steiner Designs.
The prize for one lucky (randomly chosen) winner is
a $20 Gift Certificate!

For my card I used a digital image from Gerda Steiner called Mouse with Balloon. This cute guy little just happens to be on sale at the moment for free!
So you if you love it as much as I do, be sure to stop over and get yours.
While there, be sure to check out all their other fabulous digital as well as clear stamps.

For my tags, I decided to print several images and try coloring them with different markers and pencils. The first mouse (on left) was colored with Spectrum Noir markers. The second mouse was colored with Crayola pencils, and the last was colored with Prismacolor pencils. The to/from sentiment is from a Paper Smooches stamp set.  I die cut the tags (MFT), adhered the pattern paper, and then made the Happy Birthday label from an old-fashion label maker. I finished the tags with some sequins and ribbon.

I appreciate you stopping by my little blog world.  I can't wait to see what you create for this fun Party Time challenge!  Good luck on winning the prize from Gerda Steiner Designs.

CIC376 Newton's Nooks Designs

Hello and welcome to a super fun color challenge at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge.  This week we have a returning sponsor--Newton's Nooks Designs!  By linking up this week you have a chance to win a $25 store credit!  I adore Newton's stamps and the new September stamps and dies have just been released!  Be sure to jump over there and see all the cuteness!

For my card I used NND's Whispering Pines set.  I stamped the trees and then masked them, so I could use distress inks to create the sunset. I stamped the sentiment and critters.  I then created the frames from cardstock using the challenge's colors.  For the white base, I dry embossed.  The last touch was teh little jewel.  I love how it all turned out and can't wait to send it to my out-of-state family.

My second card uses NND's Pineapple Delight. I stamped the purple pineapple. Then I masked it and stamped the second pineapple.  I then stamped the super fun sentiment.  I then distressed the edges and added the enamel dots.  To finish off the card, I added the ribbon to the green base.  Again, I love the colors of this challenge and how this card turned out!
Now it's your turn to create!  Can't wait to see what you do!

NND Love Tag

I had time to play with some new Newton's Nooks Designs stamps, so I whipped up this cute card based on the challenge Tag It!.

Just Add Ink Challenge #328

YNS--You Mocha Me Happy

Here's my take for this week's YNS challenge.  I used YNS's Coffee Break stamp set.

Challenges:

PS--Happy Halloween with Bat

I was inspired by this CAS(E) this Sketch.  As soon as I saw it, I thought giant full moon!  This bat image from Paper Smooches has always been one of my favorites. The branch is an Avery Elle set.  To top it off, I add the googly eyes. I just love googly eyes!!

Welcome to another super fun challenge this week at Cupcake Inspirations!
This week we are all about bows and our sponsor is us, Cupcake Inspirations!
The lucky winner this week will receive a surprise package of some fun goodies.

For my card, I used some gorgeous blue ribbon from The Ribbon Resource.
It's so striking and very, very elegant. I kept my card very CAS as I was attempting elegant. I pulled the gold from the cupcake inspiration photo using another ribbon (source unknown). The stamped sentiment is from Uniko. I finished it off with some color-coordinating sequins. I'm thinking this card could be used for many different occasions.  Now it's your turn to create using bows!
Thanks for stopping by! Debbie

The Sweeties were also provided an image to showcase. I worked with the very adorable and super fun to color --Puddle Jack.  To see how other Sweeties colored this duckie as well as other images by Little Miss Muffet, visit the Cupcake Inspirations site.  This is also where you'll link up. CIC373--The Greeting Farm

Hello and welcome to another challenge at Cupcake Inspirations! We have an incredible sponsor--The Greeting Farm!  The prize, for one lucky participant, is a $25 gift certificate to The Greeting Farm.  Wowza!  The challenge this week is to create a project using the theme-Sweet Inside. Be sure to link up at Cupcake Inspirations.  Can't wait to see your interpretation of the challenge!  ~D

Now onto my card. I decided to make a little goodie bag that includes sweet treats inside. I used two products from The Greeting Farm. I used the Thanks and Thank You Dies and the Perk Up stamp set. I also used Lil' Inkers bow die, heart dies from Sweet & Sassy as well as a Sizzix frame die. I die cut, did a bit of paper piecing and adhered everything. Inside I added a bag of sweet treats--chocolate covered coffee beans!  Now I need to decide who to give it to before I eat all the coffee beans!  :)

YNS-School Thanks

Well school is back in session!
I squeezed in some time to craft today.
I pulled out YNS's Perfect Chemistry stamp set to celebrate a brand new school year. The white box on the sketch challenge reminded me of my white board, so I pulled out Lawn Fawn's A Good Apple stamp set. I love how these two sets complement each other despite being from different companies.  I pulled out Echo Park's Paper & Glue paper pad. I added some dimension using fun foam and finished it off with googly eyes!

NND--Baking Tag

Since I had all my NND stamps out, I decided to make a tag with a stamp set I've yet to use.  (I honestly had forgotten I purchased it!)  For this tag I only added some lace (no burlap). I decided to go with a black, white, and pink  color scheme.  (I seriously want this appliance in these colors!)  Now I just need to bake some cookies, attach the tag, and give to some worthy friend!

NBUS Challenge #7 Anything Goes

NND-Love

Oh, I had a bit of time to play in my craft room. I pulled out my Newton's Nooks Designs stamps because the NND challenge is all about lace and/or burlap. I just love the contrast of lace and burlap.  I used NND's Love Grows set.  I shaded the flower and leaves with Prismacolor pencils. I added the lace and burlap. I die cut the love sentiment (Paper Smooches) several times and glued them together to add some depth. To finish it off I add a bit of bling.

CIC372--Polkadoodles

It's Sunday again, so it's time for another Cupcake Inspirations Challenge. This week is a color challenge--honey, white, amethyst. Aren't they wonderful?  We have a delightful sponsor, Polkadoodles, who is offering one lucky participant a $10 digi voucher.

For my card, I used this darling image entitled You're Weird
My hubby just loved it when he saw this card!  I colored the image using Prismacolor Pencils and then added some Glossy Accents.  I did some layering with card stock. I die cut (Paper Smooches) the paper and stamped the school lines on it. I added some small buttons to add a bit of texture. This is a pretty basic card, but I really like how it turned out!
Hope you will be inspired to use this week's colors! Be sure to link up at Cupcake Inspirations!

CIC371--Neat and Tangle

Welcome to this week's Cupcake Inspirations Challenge.  (I've been having Internet issues--supposedly it's upgrading, but I get Internet for 1 minute then it goes off for 1-5 minutes, so if your reading this and suddenly the rest of the sentence is missing you know why!) This week's Shine Bright challenge is sponsored by Neat & Tangled.  (They have some super fun images that fit this challenge perfectly.)  Be sure to check out the other DT Sweeties to see how they used Neat & Tangled products!  You'll be inspired!

For my card, I used Neat & Tangled's Awesome Die and Sunburst stamp.  For the sunburst, I used my Mini Misty a lot!  I first stamped the image several times in black to get a very solid black foundation.  I then stamped again and added silver embossing powder. I did this twice to ensure the embossing covered the entire image.  Once done, I decided it wasn't bright and shiny enough, so I pulled out Ranger's Holographic embossing powder--it did the trick! I liked the subtle shimmery colors.  I then cut out the image and used my Perfect Layers tool to make a black mat.  For the sentiment, I die cut Awesome out of DCWV glimmer card stock.  I love this die set as it has the background die as well as the word.  I used both black and magenta for the sentiment.  Then I die cut some a couple of stars.  Using some fun foam I added some dimension.  The final touch was some sequins and confetti stars.

I hope you are inspired to join this week at Cupcake Inspirations!

CIC370--The Stamping Boutique

Hello and welcome to this week's color inspiration at Cupcake Inspirations.  The Stamping Boutique is our wonderful sponsor.  The Stamping Boutique is generously providing a prize of 2 digis to our randomly chosen winner.

For my card I used the Daisy Rope digital stamp from our The Stamping Boutique.  I colored it with Spectrum Noir markers. I die cut it out (MFT) and adhered it to my dark purple card stock. (I know it looks black in the photo, but really it's a beautiful dark purple.)  I then die cut the banner (Avery Ellen) and stamped the sentiment. It's a pretty simple card, but I'm liking it.

For more inspiration using this week's colors as well as The Stamping Boutique's images, be sure to visit Cupcake Inspirations.  This is also where you link up your amazing work using this week's colors!
