CIC257-May Arts

Happy Easter all my bloggy friends!  Today at Cupcake Inspirations we have a bunny theme challenge!  Bunnies don't have to end with Easter!  They make great images for any occasion!  I paired my sweet bunny digi from Sweet 'n Sassy with some beautiful ribbon from May Arts, who is offering one lucky participant a wonderful prize!  Seriously, you can never have too much ribbon!   I also used a sentiment from Craftin Desert Divas' punny stamp set!  I made a little tag from scraps and attached it to a cute little paper bag (source unknown).  I had planned to give this to my hubby for Easter with a little gift card inside, but I forgot to buy the gift card...Oops!  Now I'll just hang on to it for awhile and surprise him some day in the future!  Thanks for stopping by!  Sure hope you will join us this week!  Hugs, Debbie

They Walk Beside Us Everyday

Last post for today!  It's been a great spring break!  This card used the Just Add Ink sketch.  I used my new Fiskars' border punch and several flowers I had on hand.  The sentiment stamp is from K Andrew Design Stamps.  Unfortunately, this company is out of business.

Here's another card I made today.  I used American Crafts' Trailer Stamp Collection and Echo Parks' For the Record 2 paper collection.  For this card I used Viva La Verve's sketch and loosely the colors from Viva La Verve photo inspiration.  Again thanks for stopping by!  Hugs, Debbie

Happy Mother's Day

Here's my second attempt at Inspired by Stamping's #81 Challenge.  I really love these colors and the sketch!  This time I tried to use all three options--sketch, flowers, and colors.   I used Teresa  Collin's Posh stamps.  The sentiment is from Sweet 'n Sassy's Springtime Cocoa set. I appreciate you stopping by! Hugs,

Bunny Under Umbrella

Well, Spring Break is winding down, so I spent the day making more cards and playing in some new challenges.  This card features my favorite bunny and uses the sketch and colors from Inspired by Stamping.  I also am playing along with The Card Concept. I tried my hand at clean and layered. This long-earred fellow is from The Cat's Pajamas.  Thanks for stopping by!  Hugs, Debbie

Some Bunny Loves You

Today's project features a wine glass tumbler that I found at Dollar Tree yesterday.  I immediately thought about my hubby and when we go camping!  What a perfect way to not spill wine when hanging out with our friends.  I decided this would be a perfect little gift for Easter.  I also purchased some Belly Flop (rejected Jelly Bellies) jelly beans to put inside the wine glass.  I had to find some way to "Easter-fy" this.  I punched a fun border using my new Fiskars border punch system which I recently won!  I love it!!  I added a fun tag using two colors from Craftin' Desert Divas color challenge--yellow and green.  I used a punny sentiment from a set I recently won from Craftin, Desert Divas.  Love these sentiments!  Well, I love how this little gift turned out, and I can't wait to give it to my hubby!  Thanks, as always, for stopping by!  Hugs, Debbie

Toucan-What's Up

I recently saw a tutorial on how to get the most out your dies, so I tried it out for this card!  I love how I got an embossed frame for this card.  I colored these adorable images from Your Next Stamp (Jungle Critter Crew) with Spectrum Noir markers.  Thanks for stopping by!  Hugs, Debbie

I just love coffee cup images.  These are from The Alley Way Stamps.  I stamped, colored, and then added glossy accents.  I crimped the red stripe.  Thanks for stopping by!  Hugs, Debbie

Craftin' Desert Divas-Linky Party #29
This card was inspired first by this week's CAS(e) this Sketch.  As soon as I saw this sketch, Andy Warhol's pop art with the soup cans popped into my brain.  Fortunately, I have a can stamp in my Market Fresh set by Paper Smooches.  My next hurdle was the colors of the cans--traditional red and white or colorful.  This decision became pretty easy when I saw the bright colors from the Craftin' Desert Color challenge!  Love these fun colors.  At last, I have my little version of Andy Warhol's pop art!  Thanks for stopping by!  Hugs, Debbie

Heads in the Cloud

Another day in the craft room!  Just love spring break!  Today I played with my favorite long-ear bunny from The Cat's Pajamas and The Scoot paper pad from Echo Park.  The cute plane reminded me of the movie, "Planes," by Disney.  I haven't seen this one.  I need to visit my grandkids and get caught up! Thanks for stopping by!  Hugs, Debbie

14-15 Cuttin' and Stampin' Easter Challenge

Happy Spring!  Don't you just love this time of year with all the trees and flowers beginning to bloom and Easter just around the corner?  To make it even better, Cuttin' and Stampin's challenge this week is all about Easter.  The Design Team had the pleasure of using Paper Smooches "Spring Fling" and Imaginisce's paper pad and tags "Welcome Spring." Remember all these fun products are available at Cuttin' and Stampin' Scrappy Supply Store where everything is priced really reasonably!

Now it's your turn to get crafty and link up your Easter project at Cuttin' and Stampin!  Can't wait to see them!  Thanks for stopping by!  Hugs, Debbie

Challenges that I'm entering this card:
Incy Wincy Clean and Simple Challenge
Simon Says Happy Easter/Sweet Treats
As You Like It Challenge Favorite Style of Stitching (Real or Faux)
Stitching is still a newer technique for me but I prefer the real thing.  First it adds a fun new texture.  Second, I have a sewing machine sitting around collecting dust, so I get to use it!  Last, there's a lot of different type of stitch styles that could be used!
