DoubleClick Challenge # 25 Show Us Your Craft Space

This post is to share with you what my craft room and supply closet look like (as part of the Double Click Skittles Challenge). The shutters you see on the right open up to our family room, so when I want to hang out with my hubby and/or watch television, I simply open them up!  (The other purpose is to shut them when we have friends over, so I can hide my messy craftiness!)
Double Click's Challenge this time is to Show Your Craft Space!

This is the right side of my craft room.  The door you see in the background is my personal crafting closet.                              On a side note, that's my cute (not so little) one-year old kitten--Velcro!

Here a peek into my crafting closet.

Thanks for stopping by!  Debbie

Purrfect Day

This card features a couple Paper Smooches stamps. I started by using Design Motifs. I used Distress Inks. I inked the rhombus shape and stamped three times to achieve the ombre effect.  I continued stamping to create the background. I then stamped the cat and mouse (Charmed Lives) image twice to make them really black.  I added fun foam to the back to create some dimension. To finish things off I stamped the sentiment and added a bit of bling. This became a Father's Day's card from my kitties to my hubby!  As always, thanks for dropping by! ~Debbie

This card features a new stamp set for me--Paper Smooches--Hot Concoctions.  I used DCWV Gilded Paper Stack.  This is a small card  (~3 1/4 x 4 1/4 inches) using a portion of the paper from the stack. To add a bit of interest I cut the paper and added fun foam to add dimension. I stamped the cup on cardstock and die cut the small doily from DCWV. With the sentiment stamped on and a few gold dots added, I ended up with a fun little card!  Thanks for stopping by! ~D

CIC315--Mustaches and Men

It's about Mustaches and Men this week at Cupcake Inspirations!
Melonheadz is our wonderful sponsor.

I started with this I used cute Super Hero image from our sponsor. The image didn't have a mustache, so I added one from my "stache" of stamps! Hee! Hee!
I die cut the tag and adhered the Super Hero and 'stache button. I stamped the sentiment, die cut the bow and put it all together. I cut and added the background papers and used foam tape to adhere the tag. It's a pretty simple card.  (Of course, it took me an hour to get it all planned and put together!)

Life's Simple Pleasures

It's been heating up here in northern Utah, so I've been dreaming of a fun relaxing day at the beach.  This summer card features my favorite long-ear bunny from The Cat's Pajamas.  I water colored the image for a fun soft look. I used lots of scrap papers on this as well as a metal sentiment that has been in my stash forever! Thanks for stopping by!  ~Debbie

Wild for You

For this card, I dry embossed the card base. Then I used distress ink and a stencil to make the background.  I used circle dies (W9 Plus) to cut both the black and burlap circles. I stamped the cute panda (YNS-Jungle Critters) and colored the bamboo.  I used an old stencil to trace and cut the leaves out of pattern paper.  Finally I stamped and distressed the sentiment before assembling everything.

Express-ing My Gratitude--Coffee Lovers Blog Hop #11

Here's my final card for the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop.  It has been such a fun week making coffee--themed cards.  For this card, I tried my hands at water coloring and the bokeh effect.  I didn't do so well with the bokeh.  My white pigment ink needs to be replaced by a better product.  (Darn, I'll have to go shopping!)  I used a new coffee stamp set from My Favorite Things--Perk Up and a really old stamp set from Fiskars.  I learned a lot from this early attempt.  Can't wait to try again when my new ink arrives!  ~Debbie

Favorite Side Kick--Coffee Lovers Blog Hop #10

As I was looking through and commenting on some of the amazing coffee-themed cards over at the Summer Coffee Lovers Bloghop, I was inspired by entry #159 Lydia's fun card. It had such a fun super hero feel.  I pulled out my Paper Smooches' Super stamp set and a coffee set by Gel-a-tins.  I just love that big grin on the super hero's face.  It's how I feel when I get my morning coffee!  Thanks for dropping by! ~Debbie

Coffee Card Gift Bag--Coffee Lovers Blog Hop #9

Inside I added a sentiment from MFT's Perk Up set.

This coffee card again features the Coffee Talk stamp set from Lil' Inkers. I can't seem to quit making frappuccinos, which are my favorite way to drink coffee! The tag is Lil' Inkers' Anytime Tag Dies (also new!).    I can't wait to buy a Starbucks gift card and give this to someone special!  Thanks for stopping by! ~Debbie
