Hi--Water Colored Elephant

I recently purchased this darling Ellie elephant set from Avery Elle. I checked out Avery Elle's challenge blog and decided to join the fun. To make the watercolor background I added water color paints to a large acrylic block then stamped on a scrap of paper. Then I took a clean block and tap it on the scrap paper and added it to the water color paper.  I continued this with both blue and green. I used Avery Elle's Round Diamonds Elle-ments to die cut the small background. Then I used the same technique with the elephant and balloon. I fussy cut them and adhere them. I assembled the different pieces. Then I added some fun sequins around the balloon. Thanks for stopping by! Debbie

Sunny Bunny--TCP

Today's card features a beloved rabbit from The Cat's Pajamas. I adore those long ears!  Today he's hanging out at the beach. I paper-pieced the umbrella then shaded the rest with Spectrum Noir markers. I added the button with the intention of it looking like a beach ball, but, alas, it doesn't. Fortunately it works well with the dotted paper!  I used Spellbinders Nestabilities as well as a fab die from The Cat's Pajamas (Topper's CutUps). As a final touch, I added a pair of sunglasses (Paper Smooches-Giddy Gumdrops).

Waddle I Do Without You?

I was going through my stamps today and came across this darling set from There She Goes. I just love the little duck and sentiment. Unfortunately TSG went out of business in 2013. I die cut two tags (Paper Smooches). Stamped and colored the little scene (Spectrum Noir markers). I added some die cut clouds (Sweet 'n Sassy).  I cut & assembled the background papers. Then I used some 3D Tape to the tags. I finished it off with some ribbon, button and twine before stamping the sentiment.

Today's card features an adorable raccoon from Newton's Nook Designs' Sweetheart Tails. The background was embossed in gold with lots of different hearts from several NND sets. Golden Anchors

I recently won some amazing products by DCWV. Don't you just love those golden anchors?  The papers (except from the red & blue) are from The Gilded Stack. The sketch is DCWV's April Sketch Challenge. I used Paper Smooches' Wicked Nauticool. I love all the gold. Unfortunately, I'm not so great at photographing shiny cards.
