Thanks-French Bulldog

Happy Birthday, Cat Lady

I finally got to play with this fabulous stamp set from Newton's Nook Designs.  It's called Newton Makes Plans, and it has 16 different kitty images!  A must have for any cat lover!  The sentiment is from the NND Newton Loves Cake stamp set.  Such a fun card to make!

I used my new set of Newton Makes Plan stamp set

Bake, Stir, Sprinkle, Mix

Snow Day-athon is now on it's 5th day, but I don't have cabin fever.  I am so enjoying the time in my craft room!  Today's creation features this sweet feline from the Newton's Kitchen stamp set.  I combined her with elements from the Made from Scratch stamp set.  The little plate of cookies is from the Newton's Holiday Mischief set.  I found this fabulous paper by Carta Bella--Home Sweet Home--that works purr-fectly with these stamps!

Second snow day, so here's two cards with the same design

You are Loved

Schools are closed again, so I am playing in the craft room!  So fun!
This card features these darling mice from Gerda Steiner Designs. It's called Fall Mice, but I decided to make this set have a Valentine's theme. I added a lot of little hearts in the wheelbarrow and had them floating down from the sky. I used the coordinating die to cut the mice.  The white card base was cut using the Framework die by Newton's Nook Designs. It's one of my go-to dies!

Inky Paws Challenge #91

This biweekly challenge is a:
Color Challenge
Create a project using the colors white, gray, black, and pink

Ready for your chance to win a $20 gift card to Newton's Nook Designs store!  You have until  Friday, February 22 , 2018 at Midnight CST.

Here's my inspiration!

Have a llama fun by Debbie features Loveable Llamas, Cocktail Mixer, and Newton's Day Dream by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
I just love these colors, so the hardest part of creating the card was deciding on which stamp sets to use!  I started with the Loveable Llamas stamp set. I just love those black sunglasses!  I then pulled out the Cocktail Mixer stamp set because the llama looked thirsty.  (I was also imagining how fun it would be to be whisked off to a warm, sunny beach and be drinking a pink cocktail!) I then spied the speech bubble from the  Newton's Day Dream stamp set, and decided my llama was a chatty little fellow. To finish it off, I added some gray grass, gray & white striped washi tape, and a couple black sequins!

Now it's your time to decide on which stamps, stencils, and dies to use with this week's challenge colors!  Link up at Inky Paw Challenge.  I can't wait to see how these colors inspire you!

Coffee--Java a nice day!

This is another new set I recently purchased set from The Cat's Pajamas. This fun coffee set is called This Could be Vodka!  I paired it up with some new paper from Your Next Stamp--Crazy for Coffee.
The Java sentiment is also from Your Next Stamp--Thanks a Latte
The frame die is from Newton's Nook Designs--Framework .

Challenges for this card:

Caffeine Right Meow

I am completely in love with this new stamp company, especially this fabulous feline image!  The company is called The Rabbit Hole, and this image is Caffeinated Cat. So fun!

Challenges I'm entering this card:

The Wonder of It All

Here's my first 2019 Christmas card!  I recently won a store credit to The Cat's Pajamas and I purchased this darling feline set--Better Not Pout!  I also used the Build-a-Bingo stamp set.  I pulled out an Echo Park holiday paper pack and picked two different gingham patterns. I die due using the Framework dies from Newton's Nook Designs.  (I adore this die set!)  I found some tiny buttons and added them to the bingo board.  One Christmas card down, and so many left to do!

Take Care

It's turned wintery here in the Pacific Northwest and school has been cancelled tomorrow. Though I prefer not missing work, I'm going to embrace it by making cards and entering them into challenges.  That is until the electricity goes out, which I am sure is going to happen soon!  For this card, I created the heart using Deco Foils and adding the words Take Care. I added a black heart and a little silver sequin.

Inky Paws #90 Reminder

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge!

Here'a a refresher.

Create a project using the theme Love/Valentine's.

Today I have some more inspiration for this Challenge!

Hello by Debbie features My Type, Sending Hugs, Darling Hearts, Framework, and Frames & Flags by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook

I made a collection of some sweet, fun cards in several pastel colors.
I created my layers using the scallop-edged dies from the Framework and Frames & Flags die sets. I die cut a heart  ( Darling Hearts die set) and placed it in the middle of the white heart-embossed layer. I added a bit of twine.  I added Newton from the Sending Hugs stamp set standing behind the vintage typewriter.  I added a couple of silver hearts for a bit of bling!
Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you will join us at Inky Paws Challenge!

CIC463--The Paper Shelter

This biweekly challenge is sponsored by The Paper Shelter.

The Paper Shelter is generously providing 3 digital images to our randomly chosen winner.

Thank you for sponsoring this theme challenge!

Each challenge, we provide a cupcake to inspire you to create a card  or other craft project following our suggested theme or colors.  Here is this week's cupcake (linked to original source):

This week we are hosting a theme challenge centered around the idea of Be Mine!  We are curious what that means to you.  Is it a Valentine's project, an anniversary card, or just a simple thank you note to a friend.  Whatever the theme of Be Mine means to you, we can't wait to see it.

Now for my inspiration:

I'm using the very cute Pepe L'Souris in Love digital stamp set. It was so much fun to color and play with!  I used dies from Newton's Nook Designs (Framework and Frames & Flags).  I added some sequins for a bit of sparkle!
Hope you will join us for this super fun challenge!

This biweekly challenge is a:
Theme Challenge
Create a project using the theme:  Love/Valentine's

Newton's Nook Designs has so many fun Love and Valentine's stamp sets!  I hope you will pull yours out and play along.  There's a $20 store credit for one lucky participant.  Will it be you? :)

Here's my inspiration!

Happy Valentine's Day by Debbie features Newton's Sweetheart, Waves, Darling Hearts, Framework, Frames & Flags by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
I designed a shimmery background using silver foil with the Waves stencil.  Using one of the dies from the Framework die, I cut it out and adhered it to a pink distressed background cut using the Frames & Flags die set.  I added  a distressed pink heart using the Darling Hearts die set and added a sentiment from the Love Owl-ways stamp set. The stars of the card is the sweet feline couple enjoying a bottle of milk from the Newton's Sweetheart stamp set.

I do hope I have inspired you join Inky Paws Challenge!  I look forward to seeing your projects!
