Cupcake Inspirations #275--Sponsor Freckled Fawn

It's been a really long week with the starting of a new school year.  I can't believe summer is over, but I am fortunate to have 26 darling third graders!  This week at Cupcake Inspirations, we have a great sponsor--Freckled Fawn.  They have some amazing products!  Be sure to check them out.  Also join us at CIC for this week's fun Party Theme challenge!    Looking forward to seeing your projects! Hugs, Debbie
Stamp:  Newton's Nook (Cat and sentiment); banner--Avery Elle
Markers--Specturm Noir
Die Cut (loopy-loops)--The Cat's Pajama

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
Stuck On U Sketches: Blow Out the Candles Die Challenge

I just had to join this challenge since I adore Newton, the cat, from Newton's Nook Design.  My favorite animals are cats.  In fact, my hubby had to leave town over the weekend, so I brought home a kitten (when the hubby is away the wife gets her way!).  I've spent the last couple bonding with him while my other cat has decided she hates me.  Not sure how this drama will end!

Emma's 2nd Card--Believe

My granddaughter, Emma (age 7), made her second card before going back home which 6 hours away.  It was so fun letting her play in my craft room.  Once we picked out some stamps and papers, I found a sketch to help focus her.  I helped her cut the papers out since I didn't want to using my paper cutter.  Then I left her to create!  I am so proud of her!  I'm thinking she will be getting her own stamps, paper and embellishments for Christmas!  Thanks for stopping by!  Emma loves reading all your comments!  Hugs, Debbie

Cupcake Inspirations #272-A Day for Daisies

This week I am so excited to share my card.  I love A Day for Daisies images, especially any image with a kitty on it (big surprise!).  This week's image is entitled Tiger, and it reminds me of myself when I was a little girl.  I had a gray tabby named Spooky, and I would have rather married him when I was in third grade than any icky boy in my class!  He was such a sweet heart.  We had plenty of good times together, including all those days when I dressed him up in doll clothes! Okay, maybe it wasn't so fun for him, but he tolerated it without a hiss or growl.  Fortunately, I outgrew my dislike of boys, but my love of cats has never wavered.   My hubby and I now have a gray Maine Coon, Catapult, who is showered with love and kisses (but no doll clothes)!
I just had to make sure Spooky was part of the Easter picture!

So onto my card and this week's challenge!  Isn't this image remarkable?  If cats aren't your favorite, I promise you'll find something you will love.  There are thousands of amazing images!  This week's challenge at Cupcake Inspirations is all about colors--mint, white, and gold!  By participating, you will have a chance to win a $12 gift certificate at A Day for Daisies!  Be sure to link up at Cupcake Inspirations!  Hugs, Debbie

Enjoy your day--Newton Style!

My new Newton stamps arrived in time to play with this month's Inky Paws challenge! I am loving the images with Newton at the beach!  What a cute kitty!  Thanks for stopping by!  If you have an extra minute, I would love for you to visit my prior post--my granddaughter made her first contest card, and I know she would love to hear your lovely comments!  Thanks!  Debbie

Emma's 1st Contest Card

Emma, Aunt Katie, and Digger
My granddaughter, Emma-age 7, is visiting us.  Yesterday "Aunt" Katie let us ride her beautiful horses, so Emma wanted to make Aunt Katie a thank you card.  She choose some papers from Carta Bella (Giddy Up) and some Paper Smooches and Taylor Expressions stamps.  I cut the papers down to size.  (Didn't want my guillotine paper cutter slicing her pretty fingers.)  With a bit of guidance from me, Emma created this darling card!  Maybe I'm biased, but I think she did an amazing job!  Thanks for stopping by!  I would love for you to leave some blog love for Emma!

Puppet Theater

When I saw this sketch, I immediately thought it looked like a stage.
So I created a little stage with little puppets and interchangeable sets!
My first scene features a living room setting and a very naughty looking kitty!

My second scene is a recreation room.  This time a cute little puppy is featured!

My third scene is takes the puppets outside for a fun camping adventure!  Beware the bear!

My final scene (for the time being) features the laundry room.
Not sure if that kitty is doing the laundry or chasing that mouse!

I still want to make more scenes--outer space, zoo, playground, Halloween, gingerbread house, and well...there are so many more Paper Smooches sets to use!  Now I need to decide if I'm going to keep this for myself or give it to my granddaughter!  Thanks for stopping by!  Hugs, Debbie

I am also entering these in the following challenges:
