Inky Paws Challenge #95 Reminder

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration
for our current challenge!

Here'a a refresher.
Sketch Challenge

Create a project using the above sketch.

Today I have some more inspiration for this Challenge!

Happy Birthday by Debbie features Uplifting Wishes and Balloons by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
Today's card is very CAS. I created my banner using the Balloons stencil using bright-colored Distress Inks. I then cut two tags using diagonal-striped paper and layered them using dimensional foam. I stamped the birthday sentiment using the Uplifting Wishes stamp set. I used a pink/white twine and yellow sequins to finish it off.  (I think this is the first NND card I've ever made that didn't include one of NND's amazing critters!)

This is a super fun sketch, and I hope you will pull out your NND supplies and link up with us!
Debbie

Thanks a Latte

I haven't had a chance to play with my Gerda Steiner stamps lately, and I just adore this unicorn from the Moody Unicorns stamp set. I used this fun stencil in my stash (not sure where I got it). Then I stamped the sentiment from the GSD Coffee Hedge stamp set.

Here's my inspiration!

I'd rather be lost at the lake by Debbie features Tree Rings, Flower Trio, and Winston's Lake House by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
I decided to go with a more rustic scene. I started with the Tree Rings stencil and die cut using
the Framework die set to create my background.   Instead of a vertical strip, I layered leaves using the Flower Trio die set before adding the center tag which I distressed using brown ink. I added the sentiment and cabin using the Winston's Lake House stamp set.  I added a neutral twine and bow to finish it off.

I hope you will join us for your chance to win!

I paired this saying up with a this sweet bear who is going fishing. I was thinking of my husband when I made this card because he loves to fish and needs to do more of it.  I created a fun forest scene with a stream running through it.

I hope this inspires you to make a project using a woodland critter!

Debbie

Inky Paws Challenge #94 Reminder

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration
for our current challenge!

Here'a a refresher.

Color Challenge
Create a project using the colors: white, pink, baby blue, and mint.

Today I have a trio of cards to inspire you.

You make me a happy camper by Debbie features Cozy Campers and Framework by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook

I created a trio of camping cards using the Cozy Campers stamp set and using different pattern papers in the challenge colors. I am just loving these vintage travel campers, and I think they look great in the pastel challenge colors. I kept the same basic design but mixed and matched the different sentiments and accessory stamps. I used the Framework die set on which to place the sentiments.

Debbie

You have until Friday, April 5, 2019 at Midnight CST to link up your Newton's Nook Designs' products!  You can win a $20 store credit!

Here's my inspiration!

Hoppy Easter by Debbie features Newton's Easter Basket, Bunny Hop, Bokeh, and Frames & Flags by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
I wanted to create a sweet Easter card using these colors, so I started by using the Bokeh stencil set to create a vertical striped background. Using the  Frames & Flags die set, I cut the background using the scalloped edge die.  Using a large polka-dotted embossing folder, I embossed the next layer before die cutting using an egg-shaped center.  I added the kitty bunny from the Newton's Easter Basket that I lightly colored. I added some grass using the Land Borders and placed it above the banner using the Frames & Flags die set again. The sentiment is from the Bunny Hop stamp set.

Now it's your turn to create your project using the challenge colors!
Hugs,
Debbie

This week is a Color challenge.  We want to see the colors lilac, white, and sky blue on your projects.

Here's my inspiration:

For my challenge, I used the Bugaboo Digi--Easter Bunny-Hot Balloon image! I embossed the background using a cloud embossing folder. I then used a Newton's Nook Deisgns' cloud die to created the blue sky with the fluffy white clouds. I die cut using an egg-shaped die and added dimensional tape to place the embossed panel.  I place the bunny image in the middle with foam tape.  I added sequins.  The little banner used the NND Frames & Flags die set and an Easter greeting.

What will you create using the challenge colors?

Debbie

Inky Paws Challenge #93 Reminder

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge!

Here'a a refresher.

Create a project using Spring as your theme.

Today I have some more inspiration for this Challenge!

Love no bunny butt you by Debbie features Bunny Hop, Bold Blooms, Framework, and Flags & Frames by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
I just love this bunny image and the punny sentiment from the Bunny Hop stamp set. After coloring him with Spectrum Noir markers, I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops to make his cotton tail have a bit of dimension.  I wanted to create a bright springy backdrop, so I used the Bold Blooms stencil and Distress Inks to color in the blooms in pinks, yellows, and oranges which I die cut into a circle. For the banner, I used the Frame & Flags die set, but I didn't want a long banner, so I sized it down before stamping the sentiment and distressing the edges.  I added a couple of sequins for shine.  I wanted to add a lot of green to make the flowers pop, so I went with a Doodlebug Designs green gingham paper which I die cut using the Framework die set.   It turned out to be bright and bold!

Now it's your turn to create a Think Spring card using your Newton's Nook Supplies.  You have a chance to win a $20 credit to the NND store!  (If you haven't seen the new March release, be sure to head over there!  So many new "must-have" products!)

This week we are hosting a color challenge.
We are using the colors, lilac, white, and sky blue in our cards, and we are eager to see how you use these beautiful colors in your projects!

For my card, I used the Thank You Tulip Block image from Bugaboo. I kept it very simple by coloring the tulips in shades of lavenders. I very lightly added a bit of green to the leaves so they weren't stark white, but not too much since green isn't in the challenge colors. I lightly colored the background in blue.  I mounted the image to a lavender card base and adhered it to fun foam for dimension.  I added some shimmer Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist.  I added some lavender jewels for a final touch.   It's very simple, but very pretty.

Now it's your turn to create a project using the challenge colors.  Be sure to link up at Cupcake Inspirations for a chance to win a gift certificate to the fabulous Bugaboo store!

Inky Paws Challenge #93

It's time for a new challenge at Inky Paws Challenge!

Theme Challenge

Create a project using the theme SPRING.

For your chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs, be sure to link up your Spring card by Friday, March 22, 2019

Here's my inspiration!

I went a bit crazy and used 7 different NND products!  I just love the way you can mix and match elements of the stamp sets and how versatile the dies are!  For my card, I started with a DCWV paper stack that has this fun foiled polka-dotted paper!  I added a layer of clouds using the Sky Borders die set. I love scalloped edges on my cards, so I used the Frames & Flags die set. I created a sliding element, so the owl from the Love Owl-Ways stamp set can fall from the clouds. This particular owl is holding a heart balloon, but I did some fussy cutting and removed the balloon. I added the froggy umbrella from the Umbrella Pals stamp set.  (Reminds me of Mary Poppins!). I then added the kitten image from the Sending Hugs stamp and die set who is also holding a froggy umbrella.  Using the banner die from the Frames & Flags and scalloped the edges.  The sentiment I select is from the Newton's Rainy Day stamp set.  Since spring showers bring beautiful flowers, I added the potted flowers from the Wagon of Wishes stamp set and slipped them slightly behind the banner.  It was such a fun card to make!
I so hope you will pull out at least one NND stamp set and join us for this super fun challenge--THINK SPRING!   Can't wait to see what you create!
Hugs,
Debbie

Happy Easter features Land Borders and Newton's Peeps by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
For my card, I used an egg-shaped die to make a shape card. I created my plaid background using Newton's Nook Designs' Plaid stencil. I created the grass using the NND Land Borders die. For my main attraction, I used the Newton's Peeps stamp set.

For your chance to win, be sure to use plaid in your project and link up at Cupcake Inspirations!
