You Brighten My Day

For this card, I used Distress Oxide Inks to create a dark ocean setting for my cute little angler fish. This little guy makes me quite happy.

Roses Hello

This card showcases roses from the Newton's Nook Designs Roses stamp set. I paired it with NND's Lattice Frame. I wanted the roses to look like they are climbing the lattice. I also added the flora pattern paper from the Carta Bella Botanical Garden. I like the idea of looking through the lattice and seeing the greenery in the distance.

I also used the Beautiful Blossoms Moodboard--red roses

Die Cut & Flower

You can see through the lattice.

Cherry Blossoms Hello

I continue to play with my new frame dies by Newton's Nook Designs. This frame is the Filigree Oval Frame die set. I paired it with the Cherry Blossoms stamp set. I used papers from the Echo Park Life is Beautiful paper pad.   Not a difficult card, but it turned out so beautifully.

Happy Easter-Watercolors

I'm back to trying my hand with watercolors.  I began by heat embossing the image in white on water color papers.  This image is from Newton's Nook Designs-Hop Into Spring stamp set. After painting this, I painting the sky and some green grass. I die cut the grass using NND's Land Borders die set. I added some clouds with the sun peeking out between them. These were die cut using NND's Sky Scene Builder die set.  I opted for a square card vs the tradition A2 card.  I used Frames Squared die set.  I still need practice with watercolors!

P.S.  Don't forget that Inky Paws Challenge is about watercolors.
