Hope Your Day Rocks

This card is for my hubby who has his very own music room where he enjoys his vinyl collection. The stamp set is by Paper Smooches-BeBoppin.  I arranged the stamps on my Mini Misti.  I stamped on one corner. Then turned my paper and stamped the opposite corner.  I love the mirror image. I then stamped the sentiment.  I added a black border and placed on a green card base for a pop of color.  Super CAS, but I think it's perfect for a masculine birthday!

Challenges for this card:
I was inspired by the black, white, vinyl, and musical notes on this list.

The above sketched inspired all four of the above cards. I used the retired White Rabbit Hole Designs coffee critters for each card, but tried to make each card unique by changing the shape for each one.
Additional Challenges, if any, are listed below each card.

Inky Paws Challenge-Week 4

Inky Paws Challenge

Week 4 Inspiration

Use your NND products with this sketch.

Inky Paws has moved to a new, monthly format to give you more time to get Inky with your Newton's Nook Designs products.

You have until Friday, November 29, 2024 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop!  The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.  Make sure you check the challenge rules page before you link up your project.

For my card, I was inspired to create a coffee-themed Christmas card.

Debbie's holiday card features Love & Meows, Christmas Basics, Postage Stamp Layout, Holiday Postage Sampler, Holiday Essentials, Frames & Flags, and Christmas Coffees by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnookdesigns, #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #cardmakingideas, #cardchallenge, #coffeeloveres, #coffeecards, #holidaycards, #Christmascards
For my card, I wanted to make another Christmas card. I was drawn to the teal polka dotted papers in the Love & Meows paper pad. I adhered the panel. Then I used the Frames & Flags  die set to create the center panel using the heart paper from the Christmas Basics paper pads. I then inverted the stripe panel and center panel. I used the striped paper from the Love & Meows paper pad for the long stripe. I cut out the white postage element using Postage Stamp Layout. I cut this in half horizontally and adhered to the striped panel.  I stamped the mugs from the Christmas Coffees stamp set and cut using my Scan 'n Cut. (There are coordinating dies if you prefer.) I colored with Copic markers. To make it into a stamp, I stamped the price using the Holiday Postage Sampler stamp set. I added a few enameled dots for some diminsion.  The sentiment is from the Holiday Essentials stamp set. I heat embossed the white on black to add a bit of "drama".

It's All About the Chemistry

It's All About the Chemistry features You and Newton's Nook Designs; #indys_designs, #newtonsnook, #yns, #cardmaking

I pulled out an older Your Next Stamp--Perfect Chemistry.  This set already makes me smile!  I thought it would work perfectly with YNS Young at Heart challenge.  I paired it up with Newton's Nook Designs Slimline Frames & Windows die set. I distressed the black panels with white ink to make them look like old fashioned black boards.  I added glossy accents to the beakers and the scientists' glasses.  I used the colors from The Paper Players challenge. A pretty simple card filled with some fun!

You're the Cream in my Coffee

#inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #indys_designs, #coffeelovers, #cardmaking, #valentinescards

I have been having so much fun playing with the newly released Heart Frames die set and Newton's Mug stamp set from Newton's Nook Designs.  I paired these products with Newton Loves Coffee stamp set. I colored them with Spectrum Noir  markers.  For added dimension, I used a paw print embossing folder. The sketch I used is Inky Paws current challenge sketch:

Inky Paws Challenge #129 Reminder

There's still time to play with this fabulous sketch

from Inky Paws!

Have you had a chance to make a card for our latest Inky Paws Challenge
Today I'm sharing some more inspiration for our current challenge!

Create a project using the sketch below:

Today I have another card for inspiration!

It's your birthday by Debbie features Bleat, Oink, Moo, Cluck, Neigh, Banner Trio, Land Borders, Slimline Frames & Windows, and Slimline Frames & Portholes by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook

My card features a slew of farm critters from Newton's Nook Designs!  I created the red scallop-edged frame using the  Slimline Frames & Portholes die set. The trio of windows was created using the Slimline Frames & Windows die set. The fun farm scenery paper is from the Doodlebug Design's Down on the Farm paper stack. I added some fencing from Kraft card stock using the Fence die.  Then I went a bit crazy and added all those farm critters using images from the  Bleat, OinkMooCluck, and Neigh stamp sets.  Oh the green gingham paper (same paper stack) was die cut using the Land Borders die set.  At last, I added the birthday sentiment on a banner from the Banner Trio die set.

I hope I've inspired you to join us at Inky Paws for this fabulous sketch challenge.  Link up at Inky Paws #129!  Have a fabulous week!
Hugs, Debbie

Inky Paws #117 Reminder

There's still time to join us at Inky Paws!

Here'a a refresher.
Sketch Challenge--Use the sketch below.

Today I have some more inspiration for this Challenge:

A pinch of love by Debbie features Waves, Scuba Newton, Tides of Love, Fancy Edges Tag, Frames & Flags, and Framework by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
For my card, I decided to combine the crab from the Tides of Love stamp set with the kitty from the Scuba Newton stamp set. I used the  Waves stencil to create my watery background and the Fancy Edges Tag die set for both the waves tag purple tag beneath. Using the Framework die set I cut the frame with a postage-stamp edge. The banner is from  Frames & Flags die set. I used sand embossing powder.

Hope you will join us at Inky Paws!  There's a $20 store credit which will come in handy with all the newly released products!  Link up at Inky Paws!
Hugs,
Debbie

Congrats You're 10

I can't believe I made a card without using any stamps!  Instead I used lots of dies. The banner dies are from Spellbinder. The numbers and Congratulations are from Paper Smooches. The balloon & Happy Birthday confetti were picked up at Walmart in their birthday section. The fun foil papers are from DCWV.
(Sorry about the picture.  I am struggling with all the shimmer.)

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
