Walking Dogs

I finally had time to ink up this fabulous stamp by Newton's Nook Designs. This is the Walking Woofs stamp set. I love walking my neighbor's dog, Luna!
I was inspired by the colors by the Mood Board at Inkspirational.  This colors are just so pretty! I created two cards changing the color of the hat and background of the stamped panel.
Thanks for stopping by!

Sound the Alarm!

Sound the Alarm features Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook, #indys_designs, #cardmaking

I am back using the Sketch Saturday sketch.  When I first saw this sketch, I was quite stumped, so I'm challenging myself to use it several times.  This card has a more masculine feel with a whole lot of hearts!  I guess I'm not quite ready to put away my Valentine's products.  The firetruck is from Newton's Nook Designs Love Emergency stamp set. I've had this set several weeks, and I'm just now inking it up.  The little sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp

You're On My Mind

You're on My Mind features Newton's Nook, Simon Says Stamp, and Memory Box

I am so loving this mid-winter break.  It is so nice to get quality time in my craft room.
This card begins with a card layer die cut using Memory Box Pinpoint Burst plate die. This is a new product, and I am so liking the extra interest it adds. I then cut out the heart using Newton's Nook Designs Heart Frames die set. I then stamped, colored, and fussy cut the little houses from Newton's Nook Designs Snow Globe Scenes stamp set.  I then added the little sentiments from Simon Says Stamp Tiny Words stamp set.  A very CAS card that packs a lot of fun!

Thanks for stopping by!

CIC#487

A new challenge has started at Cupcake Inspirations!

Here is this challenge's cupcake!

For my card, I used the recently released Love Quarry stamp set by Newton's Nook Designs. Who knew how much fun little trucks and tractors would be to play with?  LOL   In addition to the Love Quarry stamp set, I used the Sky Borders die set to create the sky with Distress Oxide inks in pinks. For the ground, I used NND's Land Borders die set.  Like the postage-edged frame?  This is from NND's Framework die set. (This is one of my go-to sets!) I added black and white twine as well as some shimmery gel pen for my finishing touches.  This cute card was for my sweet hubby!

Hope you will ink up and join us for CIC's Love/Valentine's Day challenge!
Hugs,
Debbie

Take Care

It's turned wintery here in the Pacific Northwest and school has been cancelled tomorrow. Though I prefer not missing work, I'm going to embrace it by making cards and entering them into challenges.  That is until the electricity goes out, which I am sure is going to happen soon!  For this card, I created the heart using Deco Foils and adding the words Take Care. I added a black heart and a little silver sequin.
Here are the challenges I'm entering this card:

Here's my inspiration!

Happy Valentine's Day by Debbie features Newton's Sweetheart, Waves, Darling Hearts, Framework, Frames & Flags by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
I designed a shimmery background using silver foil with the Waves stencil.  Using one of the dies from the Framework die, I cut it out and adhered it to a pink distressed background cut using the Frames & Flags die set.  I added  a distressed pink heart using the Darling Hearts die set and added a sentiment from the Love Owl-ways stamp set. The stars of the card is the sweet feline couple enjoying a bottle of milk from the Newton's Sweetheart stamp set.

I do hope I have inspired you join Inky Paws Challenge!  I look forward to seeing your projects!

Are you ready for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate to Newton's Nook Designs?

Here's my inspiration!

Deck the hall by Debbie features Ornamental Wishes, Ornamental Shaker, Pines & Holly, and Frames & Flags by Newton's Nook Designs: #newtonsnook
I wanted to use lots of gold, so I die cut the background using the Frames & Flags die set from gold-foiled paper. (Here's hoping Santa brings me the supplies to make my own foil-paper making supplies!)  I then added a red stripe using wide ribbon. I die cut several leaves and boughs of holly out of foiled paper using the Pines & Holly die set. For my focal point, she stamped and embossed the sentiment using Ornamental Wishes stamp set and framed it using the Ornamental Shaker die set. Red sequins wore added to finish my card.

Hope you will join us at Inky Paws Challenge!
Hugs,
Debbie

Here is my inspiration:

My card features a sweet bunny from Paper Smooches Spring Fling stamp set. I did some fussy cutting and added the clouds and umbrella from Paper Smooches Sunny Side Up retired stamp set. I used distress oxide inks to create the background. The die cut I used is the Frames & Flags die set from Newton's Nook Designs and the sentiment is from NND's Newton's Rainy Day stamp set.

INKspirational Challenge #158 Rain

Rain, rain, and hopefully some shine!

Having lived in the Pacific Northwest for less than a year, I'm finally understanding that it rains a lot!  The last few days have been very soggy!
To honor this rainy season, I created this card using Newton's Nook Designs' Newton's Rainy Day stamp set. I used alcohol ink to create the background and Distress Oxide Ink with a stencil to create the "raindrops."
Here are some challenges I'm entering this card:
(Wish I had a more snarky sentiment!)

CIC343--Your Next Stamp

This week at Cupcake Inspirations we have a great theme--Around the World, and we are sponsored by the fabulous Your Next Stamp.  With the Chinese New Year just around the corner, I used YNS's Miya from China stamp. This card will be for my co-worker who teaches Chinese to our Dual Language Immersion students. Since this is the Year of the Monkey, I used a monkey stamp from one of my first stamp sets--Mindy's Zoo by Autumn Leaves. I used this week's sketch from Sketch Saturday. This helped me add the different layered elements. I can't wait to give this to my teammate!  Thanks for stopping by!  Debbie
