Hare Mail (Black & White Stripes)

Hare Mail by Indy features Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #indys_designs

Today I am using Newton's Nook Designs' newly released stamp set--Hare Mail.
I paired it with Mama Elephants' Classic Stripe Cover die. I used the frame of the die cut to arrange the black stripes.  (I used the frame die cut in another card.) I arranged a trio of the Hare Mail image.  I colored the image with Spectrum Noir markers.  I popped these images with foam tape for added dimension.  I love black and white stripes on cards, and this one didn't disappoint.
Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs,
Debbie

You're On My Mind

You're on My Mind features Newton's Nook, Simon Says Stamp, and Memory Box

I am so loving this mid-winter break.  It is so nice to get quality time in my craft room.
This card begins with a card layer die cut using Memory Box Pinpoint Burst plate die. This is a new product, and I am so liking the extra interest it adds. I then cut out the heart using Newton's Nook Designs Heart Frames die set. I then stamped, colored, and fussy cut the little houses from Newton's Nook Designs Snow Globe Scenes stamp set.  I then added the little sentiments from Simon Says Stamp Tiny Words stamp set.  A very CAS card that packs a lot of fun!

Thanks for stopping by!

CIC443 Reminder--Sugar Pea Designs

There's still 5 days to play along with our

latest Cupcake Inspirations Challenge

We are sponsored by Sugar Pea Designs who is generously providing our randomly chosen winner with a $25 gift certificate.

This is a theme challenge--bunnies!
Below is the cupcake image to inspire you to create a card
or other craft project.

Here is my inspiration:

My card features a sweet bunny from Paper Smooches Spring Fling stamp set. I did some fussy cutting and added the clouds and umbrella from Paper Smooches Sunny Side Up retired stamp set. I used distress oxide inks to create the background. The die cut I used is the Frames & Flags die set from Newton's Nook Designs and the sentiment is from NND's Newton's Rainy Day stamp set.

NND-Wild About You

Here's another card I created this weekend.  This set uses Wild Child by NND. I repeatedly stamped the wild sentiment.  I water colored paper using lots of neutral colors--gray, browns and dark oranges.  Then I stamped the image.  I went back and used Tombow markers to darken the stripes before blending with more water.  I was shooting for the mottled colors of the domestic short-haired tabby cat.  I finished by assembling and then adding the about you sentiment. Below are the challenges I am entering this card.  Thanks for stopping by! ~Debbie

Good Luck Newton

I wasn't really planning on making a St. Patrick's Day card, but then I found some challenges that I just had to play.  Red Carpet Studio is spotlighting "The Lucky One" which is one of my new favorite romantic comedies. (Zac Efron is definitely eye candy in this one!)  I found another great sketch from The Friday Mashup's 200th challenge celebration.  This sketch worked perfectly with the shamrocks (a $1 purchase from JoAnn's) and Newton and his wagon (Newton's Nooks Designs).  Then I added some sparkly gold paper (DCWV) that I recently purchased 50% at JoAnn's.  I also found other great challenges with a St. Patty's theme and/or glitter stamp; sparkle. (All of them are listed below.) I'm loving how this card turned out!  Thanks for stopping by and Happy St. Patrick's Day!  Debbie

Let Them Eat Cupcakes

I just found a brand new challenge called If You Give a Crafter a Cookie.  I just had to play with this challenge.  I love the Laura Numeroff's book, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie!  I combined it with Freshly Made Sketches and TCP Tuesday Challenge and Addicted to CAS because the theme is Cuddly.  I love this very cuddly big-earred bunny!
Thanks for stopping by!  Hugs, Debbie

Wish You Were Here

Spring Break is upon me, and I had time to play in my craft room!  For this card, I again tried my hand at some water coloring as well as stacking my star-shaped dies to give my card some dimension.  I used a new stamp set from Lawn Fawn's Wish You Were Here Set.  I'm loving this super fun set!  Well thanks for stopping by!  Hugs, Debbie
