You're Swell

Today's card features a beach scene inside a fish bowl. I used Paper Smooches' Surf and Turk and Wicked Nauticool. To the card base, I embossed waves. Then I stamped the fish bowl on water color paper and created a sunset over the ocean. Then I stamped the sailboat, crab, and sentiment and also used water colors. After fussy cutting, I used 3D foam tape to add dimension. I added twine for a finishing touch. Thanks for stopping by!  ~Debbie

Life's Simple Pleasures

It's been heating up here in northern Utah, so I've been dreaming of a fun relaxing day at the beach.  This summer card features my favorite long-ear bunny from The Cat's Pajamas.  I water colored the image for a fun soft look. I used lots of scrap papers on this as well as a metal sentiment that has been in my stash forever! Thanks for stopping by!  ~Debbie

Good Luck Newton

I wasn't really planning on making a St. Patrick's Day card, but then I found some challenges that I just had to play.  Red Carpet Studio is spotlighting "The Lucky One" which is one of my new favorite romantic comedies. (Zac Efron is definitely eye candy in this one!)  I found another great sketch from The Friday Mashup's 200th challenge celebration.  This sketch worked perfectly with the shamrocks (a $1 purchase from JoAnn's) and Newton and his wagon (Newton's Nooks Designs).  Then I added some sparkly gold paper (DCWV) that I recently purchased 50% at JoAnn's.  I also found other great challenges with a St. Patty's theme and/or glitter stamp; sparkle. (All of them are listed below.) I'm loving how this card turned out!  Thanks for stopping by and Happy St. Patrick's Day!  Debbie
