I made two cards today which were both inspired by this month's Be Inspired Challenge photo, especially that beautiful white tree with the green, red and gingerbread ornaments.
For my first card, I used Holiday Sparkles and True Colors. I created a stencil by die cutting a star from thick card stock. I placed the stencil on the card base then stamped the brush stroke using Distressed inks until I had completely filled in the star. I repeated this several times then stamped the sentiment. To add a bit of sparkle, I added some glitter as well as colored over the stars with a glitter gel pen.
My second project is a little gift card bag for one of my granddaughters. I used the Background Check to create the random ornaments on the tree. I colored the circles with Spectrum Noir markers and add Glossy Accents to add dimension. I stamped, colored, fussy cut the gingerbread man as well as the tiny tag. I add some twine and ribbon and pearls. The bigger tag inside was punched to hold a gift card.
Thanks for stopping by! I'll be back later this month with more inspiration!
Hugs,
Debbie
