Sketch Challenge
Create a project using the sketch.
Today I have some more inspiration for this Challenge:
For my card, I used several papers from the Doodlebug Design's Kitten Smitten paper pad. I really liked the fish skeleton paper, so I pulled out the Pawprint Shaker die set and the Cat-itude stamp set which both have fish skeleton elements. I used the largest die from the Framework die set for the teal layer. I really like the postage-stamp edge. Then I used a die from the Frames & Flags and cut several layers--fish paper, yellow paper and white card stock. Once I had the yellow and fish papers the way I wanted, I used the Pawprint Shaker die set to get the the "ribbon" element of the sketch. I adhered to a white base, so you could see the die cut kitty head and fish more easily. I then added a sleeping kitty from the Newton's Antics stamp set. I colored her with Prismacolor pencils to look like a calico. for the dream bubble, I used a die from Speech Bubbles die set and embossed the sentiment from the Newton's Day Dream stamp set. I then added a couple of pink fish skeletons using the Cat-itude stamp set. I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops for the dream bubble and sequins as final touches.
I hope I've inspired you to pull out your Newton's Nook Designs stamps and use the sketch! There's a $20 store credit for one lucky participant. Don't have any Newton's Nook Designs stamps, yet? No worries. Use one of the digital freebies. Link up at Inky Paws Challenge!
Hugs,
Debbie
