I have two cards using the same papers but for different occasions.

You're electrifying by Debbie features Frames & Flags, Framework, Halloween Meows, Canine Christmas, and Franken-Newton by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #halloweencards, #catcards, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge
I started by selecting the purple striped paper from the Halloween Meows paper pad and the green hounds tooth paper from the Canine Christmas paper pads. I used the scallop-edge frame die from the Framework die set on both papers.  I then stacked them together and cut my diagonal strips. I then cut two white pieces using the same die.  I alternated the papers on one of the white scalloped pieces.  I then used the other pieces and repeated the process. For the Halloween card, I placed the striped frames on a white scalloped layer (Frames & Flags die set) and stamped the sentiment on a banner using the same die set  I proceeded to color the Bride of Frankenstein in shades of purple and green with just a splash of orange.

Grateful for you by Debbie features Frames & Flags, Framework, Halloween Meows, Canine Christmas, Chrysanthemum, and Fall Roundabout by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #floralcards, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge

I took the second striped, scalloped piece and wrapped some jute twine around it before adhering it to a white card base.  I then colored some mum blooms from the Chrysanthemum stamp set and popped it up with some 3D foam tape.  I used a sentiment from the Fall Roundabout stamp set. I love how both cards turned out.  I also loved not wasting any of the pattern paper and seeing how to use the combination of papers for two different occasions.

Now it's your turn! I can't wait to see how you use the challenge sketch!

Hugs,
Debbie
