Inky Paws Challenge
Week 3 Inspiration
Use your NND products with this sketch.
Inky Paws has moved to a new, monthly format to give you more time to get Inky with your Newton's Nook Designs products.
You have until Friday, November 29, 2024 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop! The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday. Make sure you check the challenge rules page before you link up your project.
For my card, I was inspired to create a birthday card using this great sketch.
For my card, I decided to turn the sketch and make it vertical so I could use the trio of puppies from the Birthday Barks stamp set. I cut using my Scan-n-Cut, but a coordinating die set is available. I then pulled the paper with this image from the Birthday Woofs paper pad. I cut the paper so I had two vertical strips. Then I measured and cut out the yellow-striped paper. I could have just layered the papers, but I like to preserve pattern paper whenever I can. I purposely colored the stamped image in similar colors of the paper using Copic markers. I then cut a vellum banner using the Basic Frames die set. I like using vellum to allow the paper to show through. Using the same die set, I cut the little stitched panel and stamped the sentiment. Thanks for stopping by! I eagerly await how you are inspired to use the November sketch!Hugs, Debbie
