Week 2 Inspiration

You have from until Friday, January 31, 2025 (Midnight, CST) to play along. Each DT member will pick a favorite project to showcase, AND one RANDOM entry will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Design online shop!  The winners will be announced on the NND blog the following Monday.  Make sure you check the challenge rules page before you link up your project. 

For my card, I was inspired to make a spring card with red birds.

Newton's Nook Designs' Products used:

 Birdhouse Line stencil 

Bright Basics paper pad (red gingham)

 Pastel Basics paper pads (teal stripe)

 Birsdhouse Greetings stamp set for sentiment

Banner Trio die set

I pulled the Birdhouse Line stencil out because I haven't used it in ages. I used Distressed Oxide inks to create each layer. I adhered to a Kraft card base. I then added the two pattern papers to help balance the card. Then I stamped the sentiment on a stitched banner.  I love how this turned out.  

Now what will you create?  I can't wait to see!
