For my card, I was inspired to make a Halloween card!

I am loving this month's sketch! I was inspired to make a Halloween card with lots of pink and black (see challenge below). When I pulled out the Halloween Party paper, I knew I had to include orange in my card too!  I just love the colors and patterns in this pad!  For today's card, I decide to go crazy and use lots of different patterns.  I had no idea if all these patterns would work together, but I stepped outside my comfort zone and just played. For the base, I used the Pumpkin Patch stencil in pinks and oranges.  I then pulled four different papers from the Halloween Party paper pad.  Yes, I used four different ones!  Yikes!  I added a black mat to all of my papers, except the banner.  The black edging calmed everything down and let the mix of papers play nicely together.  I did use the Frames & Flags die set for the banner. I then stamped and colored (Copic Markers) a kitten from the Trick or Treat Newton stamped set, but he looked really lonely, so I added a puppy from the Trick or Treat Puppy stamp set.  I used my Scan'n'Cut to cut them out, but coordinating dies are also available. I added a little bag to the kitty's hand as my final touch. So yes, this is a super busy card, but I think, somehow, it really works!

So glad you stopped by!
Hugs,
Debbie
