Lucky that You are My Friend

I'm having so much fun making St. Patrick's Day cards. This fun card features the newly released Newton's Nook Designs stamp set, Newton's Lucky Clover. I used the NND stencil set, Plaid. The tag was created using the NND Fancy Edged Tags die set. I used Copic markers for the stamped image.

This week we have a theme challenge--Get Well.

For my card I used Bugaboo's adorable dragon--Clyde, Get Well. I colored this image with Spectrum Noir markers. I used a MFT die. I added a layer of fun foam for dimension. I added the ribbon and sequins. A fun, simple Get Well card!

YNS--3 Cards-1 sketch & 1 color scheme

I received my Your Next Stamps a couple of days ago, and I couldn't wait to play with this set--Coffee Right Meow! I mean kitties and coffee--all in one set! And the kitties are darling as are the super fun sentiments. I decided to challenge myself to use all three kitty images using both the color and sketch challenge at Your Next Stamp! I pulled out a DCWV stack and found the gorgeous shades of blues. Here are my three cards! I can't wait to get my work done, so I can play with them again! ~Debbie

This week at Cupcake Inspirations we have a great theme--Around the World, and we are sponsored by the fabulous Your Next Stamp. With the Chinese New Year just around the corner, I used YNS's Miya from China stamp. This card will be for my co-worker who teaches Chinese to our Dual Language Immersion students. Since this is the Year of the Monkey, I used a monkey stamp from one of my first stamp sets--Mindy's Zoo by Autumn Leaves. I used this week's sketch from Sketch Saturday. This helped me add the different layered elements. I can't wait to give this to my teammate! Thanks for stopping by! Debbie
