The Sea is (still) Calling

I love using this cover die because it makes for a fun watery backdrop. I was inspired by the colors for the {PIN}spirational Challenge-Blue and Green, so I used Distress Oxide inks in varying shades of greens and light blues to create the "water". For the center panel, I used some forgotten embossing powder by Hero Arts--Sand which makes a fun sandy beach. I especially like the texture of it. At last, I added the furry feline. I like how it turned out.

Peach & Red Tea Set

My two cards above use papers from the Carta Bella Botanical Garden paper pad. The redish and peach colors jumped out at me. Cupcake Inspirations' current challenge is to use red & peach! Bingo!

I had a blast making these 4 unique cards using the Echo Park Bee Happy, paper pad. I used the darling bear from the W Plus 9 stamp set-Curious Forest Friends. I won this set some time back, and I finally got to play with it. I used a Paper Smooches tag die. This is my favorite tag die. I wish I could buy another one as this one is not cutting as well. I used Newton's Nook Designs Hexagon Frames dies and Frames & Flags die set for the banners. For some of my cards, I used Beekeeper Newton for the bees and a couple of the sentiments.

I was inspired by the sketch from CAS on Friday.
