Newton--Poolside

I have been having so much fun playing with Catherine Pooler Designs' Take a Dip Shaker Pool dies. For this card, I used Newton's Summer Vacation (retired) stamp set. The pool paper is from my stash, and the polka dotted paper is from the NND Bright Basics paper pad.

Here's my inspiration:

Autumn Greetings by Debbie features Autumn Apples, Autumn Greetings, Banner Duo, Black & White Basics, and Circle Frames by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #newtonsnookdesigns, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #applecards, #autumncards, #fallcards

I wasn't quite sure what stamp set to feature for this fun, funky sketch, but as I looked through all my NND stamp sets, I realized that I hadn't played much with the  Autumn Apples stamp set very much.  With fall just around the corner, I decided this set needed some love, so I stamped and colored the two apple images using Copic markers.  I used my Scan 'n' Cut to cut the images out, but there is a coordinating die set available.  I then pulled out the  Autumn Greetings Hot Foil Plates and red foil to make the sentiment that was then die cut using a banner die from the Banner Duo die set. I added the two apple images atop a vellum circle (Circle Frames die set). I had decided I wanted to keep with a black and white with a pop of red color scheme, so I pulled three papers from the recently released Black & White Basics paper pad. I created a template of the IPC sketch on scrap paper, so I could create the three different panels.  The final card turned out super cute.  Now I'm ready for some hot apple cider and a caramel apple!

I hope I have inspired you to use your NND products with the challenge sketch for a chance to win a store credit to Newton's Nook Designs.  You can triple your chances by entering up to 3 projects!

Hugs,
Debbie

I created four cards using different color variations depicting the colors of the ocean.  I was inspired to use seashells from the challenges listed below.

I created the stitched panel using the Basic Frames die set and added waves using the Waves Stencil. I added a Kraft frame behind to depict sand.  I used the sea-gathering lady from the Summer Moments stamp set and cut using a Scan'n'Cut. Coordinating dies are also available.  I also added a jar of seashells using the Seashell Roundabout stamp set. I then made the jar using the Hot Foil Plate & Die on acetate.  I placed the jar atop the seashells.  I stamped the sentiment on a banner ( Banner Duo die set). I loved how these cards came out.  Now it's your turn to create  a summer card. I can't wait to see what your create!
