For my card, I used Fresh Brewed Designs' Chick with Bunny Ears. I just loved this little fella's stick legs!  I paired him up with some fun pattern papers and a sentiment from Newton's Nook's Designs. I die cut the bow and assembled. A fun, yet simple, card for my grandkids!

I am so excited about this week's challenge at Cupcake Inspirations.  It's our theme challenge and it's all about cupcakes and coffee!  Eeeek! Cupcakes Inspirations Challenge #279-Fresh Brewed Designs

It's a new week, so time for a new Cupcake Inspirations Challenge. This week we have a theme challenge--Around Town!  We have one of our regular sponsors back--Fresh Brewed Designs.  I used From the Roof Tops, which was perfect for this challenge. I loved the pink on those cupcakes, so I wanted to pull in pink.  I kept the design simple, but pulled in texture using an embossing folder and Core'dination's Black Magic paper and distressing the edges on the black cardstock.  I add a bit of pink to the image with Spectrum Noir markers.

CIC 219--Under the Sea Scene

Fresh Brewed Designs

This week at Cupcake Inspirations we are going to the under the sea!  Check out the adorable sea creatures at Fresh Brewed Designs.  I used (again) Sweetie Sea Turtle.  Can't wait to "sea" what you make!  {hugs}  Indy

How I made this card:
1.  I started out by water coloring the background with a school set of water colors.
2.  I printed and cut out the background Under the Sea.
3.  I then embossed the seaweed and coral. I used Wet Looks Embossing Markers by Marvy.  Once I colored the different images, I sprinkled embossing powder and heat embossed.  (Love all the different textures this created.)
4.  The conch shell's texture was created by Liquid Pearls.
5.  I used Spectrum Noir markers for the turtle and used Glossy Accents on the eyes.
6.  Using some foam squares, I popped the turtle on the card.
