Deb's school card features Newton's Book Club, Never Enough Books, All Booked Up, Frames & Flags, Black & White Basics, and Card Layout 7 by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #cardmaking, #cardchallenge, #cardmakingideas, #nndstamps, #nndpapers, #catcards, #bookcards, #schoolcards

With school starting tomorrow, I was inspired to make a school-themed card. I pulled out all the feline images with books. I stamped, fussy cut, and colored them with Copic Markers. These scholarly felines are from the Newton's Book Club, the All Booked Up, and the Never Enough Books stamp sets. I used the Card Layout 7 die with papers from the Black & White Basics paper pack. I cut down a banner  (Frames & Flags die set) and stamped the sentiment.

Now it's your turn to use the sketch for a chance to win a $20 store credit!

For my card, I was inspired to create another Christmas card using this great sketch.

As I looked through all my NND products, I spied this stocking paper from the Christmas Time paper pad. I also glanced over and saw the little stocking on the newly released Holiday Postage Sampler stamp set. I wanted to use the sketch with these two products.  I decided to make a vellum middle panel using the Framework die set because I really wanted to highlight the stockings.  I stamped the sentiment on the ticket stub using the Frames & Flags die set. The hardest part was finding just the right image to balance the card.  I had a bunch of Christmas images already cut, so I started trying different images.  I decided on Santa Newton checking his list because it was longer and filled the card.  This image is from the Santa Paws Newton stamp set. I added a little present just for fun!
Thanks for stopping by!  I eagerly await how you are inspired to use the November sketch!

Debbie

Inky Paws Challenge #198 Reminder

There's still time to get inky!

Use your creativity with this sketch!

One lucky participant will win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs!  You have until Friday, May 26, 2023 at Midnight CST to link up your project using the challenge sketch!

This sketch lends itself to using coordinating papers. For my card, I pulled papers from the Coffee House Stories paper pad. I love the pale teals and browns in the selected papers!  I then opted for the glass coffeemaker from the Time for Coffee stamp set.  I love how it pulled the papers together.  Then I cut a stitched oval (Oval Frames dies set), and then stamped the sentiment. Nothing fancy or hard, but a darling caffeinated card using coordinating papers and stamps!

Now it's your turn to use the challenge colors with your NND products!
I can't wait to see what you create!

Oh cremini! I missed your birthday by Debbie features Fabulous Fungus and Garden Gnomes by Newton's Nook Designs; #inkypaws, #newtonsnook, #mushroomcards, #gnomecards, #birthdaycards, #cardmaking
I created a 4 1/4"x 5 1/2" birthday card with a rustic feel that works nicely for a masculine birthday!
I set the card on a dark green card base. I distressed a bit of Distress Oxide Peeled Paint on white card stock. Then I stamped the gnome image on his big mushroom from the Garden Gnomes stamp set. I colored him using Copic markers.  I then stamped and cut out some mushrooms from the Fabulous Fungus stamp set.  I kept the color palette in darker, rustic hues mimicking the shadiness of a forest.  I adhered the little mushrooms. Then used dimension tape on the gnome to pop the image a bit.  Instead of centering this layer on the card base, I opted to align the left hand and bottom sides. This left a larger border on the top and right.  To balance the card, I added a bit of jute on the left.

Now it's your turn to make some birthday cards with your NND products!
I can't wait to see what you create!
