This week at The Sweet Stop, we are playing with a great sketch and a spin--School Time.  As I looked through my stamps, I spied this adorable puppy from Paper Smooches--Santa Paws.  I then pulled out Smarty Pants (Paper Smooches) and did some masking.  I decided to go with a graduation card mainly because I wanted to use the hat with the puppy!  I'm thinking it will make a perfect kindergarten card for my granddaughter in June!  Now it's your turn to interpret this week's sketch and spin!  Be sure to link up at http://sweetstopsketches.blogspot.com/.

Welcome to this week's sketch from the The Sweet Stop. 

 This card was inspired by the patriotic program my 3rd graders have been practicing.  I was singing,  "What's more American than baseball" which inspired me to pull out Sweet 'n Sassy's  All Star Cocoa stamp set.  The baseball theme gave me the inspiration to turn the large circle into home base.  Home base made me think of all the military men and women coming home from over seas.  Thinking about the military and patriotism provided the color scheme.  I realize I took some artistic license with the sketch, but I am truly satisfied with how it turned out!
