 Inky Paws

Theme Challenge 

You are challenged to water color with your Newton's Nook Designs stamps.  

Here's my inspiration!

I began by painting my background with purples and blues water colors. After it dried, I used my gel plate and the Floral Lace stencil with white paint. This was die cut with the rounded rectangle frame from the Frames & Flags  die set. I place this on a white scallop-edged layer.  This die is also from the Frames & Flags set.  I then die cut a vellum heart using the Heart Frames die set.  With some of the left over watercolor paper, I die cut the two flowers using the Flower Trio die set. I then die cut several layers of the love sentiment using Darling Hearts die set. I glued the layers together with the silver on top.  I like how this gives the sentiment a bit of dimension.  A few clear jewels were added for a bit of sparkle as well as a place to add glue underneath.  My final element is the dear, sweet fawn from the  Woodland Spring stamp set.
