I just found a really fun sight--Card Patterns Weekly Sketch Blog. I usually don't do square cards, but what a great sketch. I just had to give it a try. I also entered this in Simon Says--Anything Goes Challenge. I pulled out my Echo Park Paper--A Walk in a Park collection. I punched (Fiskars) two borders to make my paper flower. I learned how to do this the other day, I just love them. I used a button from JoAnn's and baker's twine to finish the flower off. I made some banners stamped my sentiment, and had myself a new card. Today I went to find an envelope to fit this card. That's when I realized I should have researched the normal size for a square card. My card was too big for any envelopes offered at the local craft stores. So now I get to make an envelope for my 6"x6" card. Echo Park Papers has some new collections. Check them out!
How cute! Love that you used a pennant instead of the panels. So glad you could join us on Card Patterns this week!
