Here's my inspiration!
I've been noticing leaves beginning to change, which inspired me to make this autumn card. I started by using the Hardwood stencil to make a bark-like background on kraft card stock. I then round the corners. I die cut the center panel using the Frames & Flags die set. I used distress inks to create the cloudy sky using the Clouds stencil. I stamped and fussy cut the tree and kitty image from the Newton Hangs Out stamp set. I added a bit of foam tape to the kitty's bottom to make it look like he was swinging out. I then stamped, colored, and fussy cut several piles of leaves from the Wagon of Wishes stamp set. I thought the sentiment from Newton Unwinds stamp set worked perfectly with the scene I'd created because who doesn't like to play in a pile of leaves? So fun!
Now it's your turn to have some fun! Use the sketch above to create a card or project using your Newton's Nook Designs products. Don't own any yet, then be sure to check out the free digital images!
Can't wait to see what you create!
Hugs,
Debbie
This is the cutest! I love the kitty hanging over the pile of leaves! And the stenciling on the background makes the lovely setting! The woodgrain gives the perfect finishing touch!

Clever use of the leaves and I love the stenciled background.
