Inky Paws Challenge #230

 

Today starts a new Inky Paws Challenge with some beautiful colors to capture your creativity!

Use the challenge colors Eggplant, Raspberry, Apricot, Jade Green with your NND products.

Here's my inspiration:

After creating my card, I realized I went pretty light on the jade!  It's a bit more light teal, but I liked the card so much I just went with it!  I used multiple dies to get the different layers including: Framework, Frames & Flags, and Basic Frames die sets.

I used one of the stencils from the Plaid stencil set to create the jade panel. I overlaid it with a vellum panel.  I then pulled out the  Fall Friends stamp and colored the image with Spectrum Noir and Copic markers.  I didn't quite have the colors I wanted and my seat cushion and blanket are a bit more purple than I had planned.  After adhering the image, I felt that the card was too 'heavy' on the right side, so I decided to add the kitty and pumpkins from the Fall Harvest stamp set. The extra kitty balanced the card out, and honestly, can you ever have too many cats on a card?  LOL!
