May Your Coffee Be Strong

Today's card feature a coffee-lovin' feline from the What the Froth by The Cat's Pajamas. I've been wanting to play with this set for quite some time, so when I spied the TCP challenge using stencils, I just had to pull out one of my favorite stencil sets--Plaid stencil set by Newton's Nook Designs. I used the NND's Frames Squared die set for the center panel. I thought the feline looked quite regal in his plush chair, so I decided to use lavender--all shades of purple are my favorite!  I added a couple of enamel silver-glitter dots.

Inky Paws Challenge Reminder #103

Today I'm sharing some more inspiration
for our current challenge!

Here'a a refresher.
Theme Challenge

Create a project using the theme--Summer.

Today I have more inspiration for this Challenge!

Catch the purr-fect wave by Debbie features Newton's Perfect Wave, Waves & Splashes, Vitamin Sea, and Frames & Flags by Newton's Nook Designs; #newtonsnook
I am so loving the newly released summer stamps & stencils from Newton's Nook Designs.  I began my card using the Waves & Splashes stencil to create some waves using a couple of distress oxide inks. Using Vintage Photo, I then distressed a sandy beach and die cut using the scallop-edged die from the Frames & Flags die set.  I used Spectrum Noir markers to color two of the image from the Newton's Perfect Wave stamp set.  I fussy cut them out and adhered.  For the feline catching a wave, I added dimensional foam tape.  I heat embossed the sentiment using a vintage brown powder to give it a sandy look.  I added a sand dollar and shells from the  Vitamin Sea stamp set.

I hope I have inspired you to join the IPC Summer Theme challenge.
