U Rock {my world}

Here's another card using this week's designer draft over at Paper Smooches.  This card features Paper Smooches' Cuteasaurus stamp set as well as Stampin' Up's Perfect Words set.  The paper is Teresa Collin's Hello My Name Is.  Just love how the rock stamp and the sentiment work together perfectly!  Happy last day of 2014!  Hope the new one is fabulous for you!  ~Debbie

Most Tools Wins

Sketch #11

I was totally inspired by this sketch challenge from STAMPlorations.  My mom sent me some alphabet ribbons months ago. When I saw the three little tags on the sketch, I immediately thought it would be fun to spell DAD using the ribbons.  Then I remembered I had some tool stamps by Stampin' Up.  This led me to wanting to create those holey boards where tools are hung.  I used cork paper by Core'dinations and a die by Simon Says.  I embossed the background paper and added some Distress Ink and adhered the cork using screw-shaped brads...and I know have a fun Father's Day card...a whole month early!!!  Thanks for stopping by!  Hugs, Debbie

Hope is the thing with Feathers

Inspired By #91

When I saw this week's photo inspiration at Inspired By, it was love at first sight!  I am loving the chalkboard trend.  Pair this trend with October's Breast Cancer Awareness, and it's a very beautiful card.
Thanks for stopping by!

I went through my older stamp sets, and I found this sentiment set (Stampin' Up 2004).  I thought this Emily Dickinson poem about hope was perfect for someone fighting breast cancer.

Recess Mini Notebook

Here is another mini-book for a teammate.  I used The Sweet Stop Sketch (again).   This sketch works so well for these little booklets.  For this mini book, I used Stampin' Up's Home Room set, the sentiment is from The Paper Company Studio, and DCWV's The Grade School stack.  (The green gingham paper was found in my stash, and I have no idea where it came from!).  I am also entering this in There She Goes Stamps' Back to School Challenge.  Thanks for stopping by!  Have a happy day!  Indy
