To begin with, I love this sketch, but I had a bit of trouble with the unique angle of the top layer, so I played around on scratch paper until I got it right. Then I created a template which saved me lots of time and wasted paper. I distressed the blue background and added the musical score using the Music stencil and gold ink. (Next time I need to try using foil. Wouldn't that look amazing!) I used the template to cut it out. I added gold foil card stock for the bottom section. I stamped the sentiment on a stitched circle (Frames Squared die set) and added gold cording behind it. My featured element is the handsome nutcracker from the Nutcrackers stamp set. I colored him in hues of purple and blues using my Copic markers.
